Walked around Downtown SD and decided as a group to check out the Blind Burro. Restaurant is very festive. Food and drinks were just okay. + Lobster tacos 2/5: This did not taste like Maine lobster at all. It tasted more like super dry and chewy crawfish. The garlic butter was extremely greasy as well. Pricey without the quality. The street corn that came with it was so spicy when I was told it wasn't. + Organic caramelized pineapple 3/5: Not the best margarita, but it got the job done. Lastly, service was so disappointing for me. I gave my credit card to the server secretly in advance to pay for the meal. Usually in situations like this, the server would just bring the invoice for me to sign when check is requested later on. Well, the server forgot and was about to take my friend's card as payment. I had to stand and remind her that my card is already in her possession. Ugh.

I stopped in at this restaurant before attending a concert at Petco Park. It is very conveniently located. I got dropped off so I can't speak for parking. It has two bars and plenty of tables. I had one drink and a hot dog before heading out. It wasn't memorable, but it wasn't bad either - it hit the spot in a time of need. & of course it's downtown prices and people.

Talk about packed! There was a concert about to go at Petco so it was happening there. But we got in after getting on the waitlist. She said 45 min and it was pretty much just that. Staff was super friendly and our waitress was wonderful. She was so slammed with the amount of people there but she was always around and checking in. The food was soooo good. Everything was made perfectly and again, with the amount of people there it was amazing how they got the food out in a timely manner. I expected everything to be delayed but wow they were on it. The Jalapeños were so goood. A must have for an appetizer. We all sampled our dishes and loved them all. The Al Pastor tacos are spiiiiiiiicy from the habanero mango sauce but it was so good it made you want another bite. The waitress suggested the corn as a side dish and she wasn't wrong. It was delicious. The shrimp tacos had 2 huge shrimp in each taco. They were crispy and the slaw was so good. The chimichanga was crispy on the outside and packed with the carne asada. Soooo good. Drinks were very good and heavy handed. Loved the outside seat g but glad we got sat inside since it started to rain. But the place is nice and spacious with a nice bar to sit at. We will be back for sure!'

Ordered the churros and LOVED THEM SO MUCH. I may have been sliiiightly (aka hella) inebriated, but they have by far my favorite churros. I'm not usually a fan of churros bc they're always too crispy for me, but this places churros are so soft and moist and the cream it comes with is *chefs kiss*. 100% the reason why I'm writing this review is so that I don't forget where I got them bomb ass churros LMAOOO Also had the nachos. They're good too. But them churros

Decent food, slow service, rude staff. Management was awful. The blond middle--aged manager has a serious attitude problem and lacked the professionalism one would expect for someone in that role. Not a dog or kid friendly venue. Many better options in the area.

I had the pleasure of walking into this restaurant for a quick lunch. Taking a seat at the bar, I was greeted by "Marin", forgive me if I spelled this wrong. A smile and greet go a long way for a pleasant meal. Another nice touch was being offered to scan or read an actual menu. Many places assume you scan without so much of asking, it's the little things. Menu was simple yet covered the main foods. I ordered the carnitas " street tacos" they come in 3 with no side. However they do offer a selection larger "street Tacos" with a large tortilla and a side. I wanted to keep it authentic, and added black bean side. When the order came out, they were full and portioned nicely with plenty of meat. Now I'm uncertain who's recipe this is, but the flavor and marinade were outstanding. These rank as possibly the best tasting street tacos, perfectly portioned. The only down was the one slice of lime, an it was slightly dry, and that's nick picking. The beans came in a small cup, however once again, just the right amount and great flavor. Now here's a quirk on me, I'm very picky with mixture. The beans were perfect in with liquid and beans proportioned. Bartender, "Marin" asked if I wanted additional hot sauce, I bravely asked for the Habanero. Great choice plenty of heat so not for the weak. Overall a great place with a great first impression. Marin was a breath of fresh air in her profession, kudos. Prices are medium but it's California where you're charged for the air you breathe, but I digress. Highly recommend The Blind Burro. In the photo I apologize for the eaten Taco, I couldn't wait it was that good.

I came in for my birthday lunch and had a blast. Service was great, food was perfect and Jeremy made me a surprise birthday drink that didn't disappoint. I'm very impressed with this place and plan to be back often.

My boyfriend and I love this place! There are so many options to eat and the open space makes it a really nice place to eat. The servers were also super efficient and nice.

It's good, not great Mexican food. Above average guacamole and house made chips. Clean restaurant and good service. A bit noisy for a Sunday night. BUT it's in the Gaslamp district which is to be expected. Our waitress was very attentive and kept chips and drinks filled the entire night.

What an awesome place. We had Winnie as our server for a party of 11 and she was perfect. We pretty much sampled the whole menu. We will definitely repeat

I had dinner here with a few coworkers during an event in San Diego and definitely recommend trying The Blind Burro if you have the opportunity. Note only is the name cool, but they have the best street corn I have ever tasted in my life! The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and our server was very nice and attentive. Two thumbs up!

I absolutely love this spot. We came in fairly early on a Friday night and were seated immediately. The vibe of the restaurant is very fun without being too loud or overbearing. Our waitress was super helpful with her input on our food choices which was great because there's a hefty selection to choose from. The cilantro lime shrimp tacos were insanely good. The California machete was great but the tortilla was a little thick for my taste. The adobo wings were HUGE and the serrano ranch gave them a nice kick. Their mango margaritas (regular and skinny) were both fantastic but the house margarita can be skipped (imo). Would definitely come back again if/when we find ourselves in the area!
