Portions small. Food generally under seasoned. Snails so so. 1/3 of a breast of duck and some mixed veg from Vons . Reviews who talk about hamburgers should be removed. Deserts expensive. Won't go back

Everyone was so courteous and helpful. It was my Mom's 86th birthday and everyone treated her royally. I've always loved this restaurant. The food is excellent and the surroundings just perfect!

So happy to have rediscovered this restaurant. Close to home and the food and service are outstanding! The dining room could really use a makeover which takes away from the overall experience. Caught in a time warp. But we can't say enough about the food and service here. Fabulous!!!

This restaurant continues to be one of the hidden gems of San Diego. The new chef appears to be on his A-game. The prices have increased and, as a result, its not the value that it used to be but the quality is still there.

Wow what A nice little gem. This is my second time here and overall had a wonderful experience. Value: This is a great value with the caliper food and wine choices available. We were able to enjoy french wine without breaking the bank. Portion size: this is a great place for people who watch their weight like I do. The portions are small and delicious and not heavy. desert is small, delicious, and will keep your waist line tight . Flavor: I order the duck and it came up a little short in the flavor department. In all fairness the breast was perfectly done but the leg was dry and lacked flavor. special note the french press coffee was outstanding. Service: service was great, the waitress that served us admitted she did not serve during dinner time but overall did a great job. Overall I high recommend this gem for a casual dinning experience.

Our favorite elegant San Diego dining. Moro is the finest waiter we have experienced in the city over the last 20 plus years. Consistency is so hard to achieve but Winesellar manages to do just that every time we visit.

Nice quiet setting for a Tuesday night dinner. Service was excellent. Water glasses were always full, wine glasses were topped up. Entree recommendations were spot on. Sea Bass special was delicious. Rib eye was an interesting presentation, but very good. Wife's petite filet was perfect. We also enjoyed unusual desserts including balsamic strawberries with ice cream. Prices were reasonable, staff was very friendly and attentive.

Going to the brasserie reminded me how much I missed this place. It really is a hidden gem in the middle of Sorrento Mesa/Mira Mesa. I think I will go here for my next dinner before I go to La Jolla Playhouse. It's great for business meetings, I also think it's great for date nights. it is a a little formal with white tablecloths REALLY silver plate ware, and attentive waiter/waitress. We had a wonderful carrot ginger soup, followed by a perfectly prepared Seabass with crisp skin. The three of us dining on great food was less than $140 (lunch, so no alcohol.) For those unfamiliar, the location will surprise you, but once you're inside, you will get lost in the world of the Brasserie. Again, highly recommended for business lunches, or for a higher class, more formal date night. You won't find booming base or hipsters here, but you may well find the innovators and movers and shakers of San Diego.

The new lunch menu is amazing! My wife and I had a great time. The waiters were thoughtful and attentive as always. The food was excellent. We're looking forward to what the new chef has in store for the dinner menu.

Great Food and Service! We are huge fans of the WineSellar restaurant in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego. This is a very sophisticated and refined restaurant with excellent food and attentive service. Everything on the dinner menu is scrumptious! You cannot go wrong with fresh fish, scallops, duck or rack of lamb. Highly recommend!

Dining at the WineSellar and Brasserie is just such a wonderful experience... always! The staff is so nice, welcoming, well-informed and competent. The food choices are varied and so delicious, always making it tough to decide what to get from so many wonderful options. The wine list and the wait staff's ability to suggest a wine to match the chosen food is terrific. All in all, this place is the top of the list for me for a special dinner or just for a really nice lunch out! Most recently I had the open face cured salmon sandwich with a side salad for lunch .... yum! One of my friends had the fish plate, which looked like a plate transported from a picture in a gourmet magazine. With a paired wine, then balsamic strawberries with vanilla ice cream for dessert.... wow, wow, wow. A foodie's dream! Always happy to recommend this restaurant!

Very good food and service is excellent but a meal can get pricey although they occasionally offer an attractively priced Prix-fixe three course meal. They don't provide an amuse bouche to start or a candy or cookie with the bill but at least, so far, they have stayed away from a surcharge. The lighting is a right but the jazz backgroun music is very pleasant. Wine by the glass is relatively expensive. A glass of Sancerre was $16. It's better to order a bottle and take the remainder home. A 750 ml bottle contains enough wine for 4.21 6oz pours. If a restaurant only serves 5 oz n a pour, there are 5 in a bottle, so at $16 a glass you can pay $64 to $80 for a bottle depending on how much is in each glass.

We were there to celebrate my friend's milestone birthday. Everything was perfect from beginning to end! I appreciate the decorations on our table and the excellent professional service. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine recommended by our server. The food, seared sea bass was perfectly cooked. Thank you for a memorable meal and celebration! My friend had a great time.

Excellent meal. We had the escargot, mushroom toast & leg of lamb salads. All were absolutely delicious. Also had a fantastic Paso Robles Grenache. will definitely return.

Morro is wonderful as he will meet every need to make your dining experience memorable! Wine selections are extensive, food is delectably reminiscent of France, and service is impeccable! My husband and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner and will continue dining here at our favorite French restaurant!!
