Due to a move and other factors, I hadn't been to The Cork and Craft for several years. I took some friends on Saturday 4/13 and had another excellent experience. The ambience is stellar, the food was delicious (Nashville hot chicken sandwich, salmon poke, seared salmon) and the service was top notch. The star of the evening was Gavin H. He is young, engaging and witty. And he didn't miss a beat (homemade potato chips aside!)

Option on the menu are very very limited, when ordering wings you should have more flavors also something like a table topper showing daily/ weekly specials.

Great food , great service . I had the double burger . Cooked to perfection with charred edge . Best burger I've had in a while . My husband got the fish and chips ! Very crispy but light and i definitely recommend the tater tots . They were topped with Parmesan . Yum . I stole I few bites and loved them , I don't even like tater tots . The Weekend weather beer is also a new favorite. Will be coming back here !!!

I came in at 8:40 right before closing and had such excellent service even though they close at nine. Kristin was my server and went above and beyond even working all day. Will 100% be back just for the service alone. (Food was delicious as well)

My wife and I just happened to be in the area unexpectedly due to a medical emergency and I wanted to make the best of it. Found this restaurant and the experience was outstanding and turned my whole psychology around, it really made a positive impact on my psyche, I'm not kidding. Loved the ambiance and vibe, it's modern and while hip, we're not young but felt completely comfortable here. Really great lighting and furniture (and great layout, too, I love the hallway that separates the dining room from the bar), and we chose to eat at the bar, we got great service and of course the awesome food. But the bar area was really appealing, the kegs of beer behind the bar, the nice bar lighting (I know I already mentioned lighting but this is specifically the bar area) and cool counter. My wife had the lobster roll and tater tots. She normally eats gluten-free but no way she was gonna pass on that delicious true to New England lobster roll. No element disappointed. Delicious flavorful lobster, perfect texture for the dressing, and great split top roll. And the tater tots are perfect. By the way, even though this is a beer place, uh, wine is great! My wife had a sparkling rose she loved, it came out of one of the spigots like the beers! I had the prime rib sandwich. WOW. Delicious. How do they do it? Seems so basic but it's the seeded bun, the horseradish aioli, greens, it all works perfectly. And fresh hot crispy fries. We stayed a while drinking after we finished our meals, enjoyed the great service and the vibe just put us in such a great mood and turned our stay in the area positive! I won't forget it.

Horrible service. Came in at 8:45 (realizing the restaurant closes at 9pm) and had a poor experience. Told we could still be seated and dine. We ordered appetizers and dinner all came out at the same time. Never asked how the food was prepared (over cooked and cold vegetables). Asked for another drink and told last call already happened ! What?!- we were never asked for another drink. We have been regulars for years and food and service have deteriorated. Not worth it- go somewhere else!

Really great food and excellent service! I wish we had a restaurant like this on the peninsula up in the Bay area. The reuben, prime rib sandwich, the double double and gnocchi were all excellent. Our waitress and the service in general was excellent.

The ambiance is great and the food was good, especially for a quick night out with coworkers. The service was fast and the waitress was friendly. The Brussels sprouts were great , the wings not so much; I will go back

This place is sometimes great and sometimes terrible. The service has been getting worse and the food has been getting more like junk food. I have come here with friends about twice a month for a year or so, and we never know what we will get. We all loved the wings one time, then the next time they were terrible. They let us bring a vacuum sealed pre-decanted wine one time then not the next time. I think this place is only doing well because they are the last standing "upscale" restaurant in the area, but they are getting more basic (think fried chicken sandwich). We are looking for a new place to hang.

*DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS* I'm visiting San Diego for the first time and called ahead to make sure there were vegetarian options. When I ordered, I clearly stating that I'm vegetarian and wanted to sub for the beyond burger option and not have the bacon jam. I got served meat and didn't realize for 2 bites. When served correct food 10 minutes later, the waiter apologized for the "minor inconvenience" and tried to downplay how serious of a mistake it was. It felt very patronizing, and when I stated my frustrations, he proceeded to pour me wine from the bottle we ordered and said "maybe this will help". I understand mistakes happen and I've been served meat by accident before, but it is NEVER a minor inconvenience and nothing that should be blown off, which is what I felt this waiter was trying to do. He only took the mistake seriously when I voiced my opinion. Very misogynistic vibes. The rest of the night we felt like the rest of the staff looking at our table and were uncomfortable. When we initially got the check, the burger was still on there, but they did comp it after we gave him our payment. The waiter did apologize and owned up to their mistake, but they should've never downplayed how serious of a mistake serving incorrect food after clearly stating a dietary restriction (which they confirmed they catered to in our phone call before going). I'm allergic to meat and felt sick the rest of the night. Besides the poor customer service, the beyond burger was also poorly cooked and was not a double burger patty like the meat option, which was disappointing. The side salad, Parmesan fries, and burrata were all delicious. The interior design was also beautiful. Lastly, the menu on the website is not correct. When we called, we asked if they would serve the tofu bowl for dinner. They responded by explaining they updated their menu recently & thought they deleted all the old menus from online. Weird as it was on their own website, but the menu in person didn't say that they had a beyond burger replacement, even though the spokesperson on the phone confirmed they did. Also prices were more expensive in person. Overall, would NOT recommend going here if you are vegetarian or have any dietary restrictions.

Lovely location but parking was very challenging due to after school crowds at nearby Russian School of Mathematics. I parked on the street to dodge the traffic melee. Ambiance was pleasant and it was relatively quiet. Service was good. Food was ok. Had prime rib sandwich and artichoke dip. The sandwich bread was overly dry and crumbling. I ended up eating it as a man open face sandwich. The artichoke dip was fresh but bland. The bread accompanying it was also dry. I imagine most folks come here for the beer or parties. Lastly, there is a 4% surcharge. It would have been ok if had been $30 for an appetizer and sandwich not $60.

Service was alright, we had to seat ourselves. The food itself was mediocre. The poke bowl I had was lacking in flavor and portion size. I wouldn't come back.

We live in the neighborhood and had not been here in a while so decided on whim to stop in. Friday evening 530pm with 3 people. The dining room inside was at least half empty and outside was almost completely empty. Host told us we had to wait. We stood around and watched as the host stood at her post and watched us wait. Eventually we just had an odd feeling that we were invisible and left. Not the end of the world but just couldn't wrap my head around not being seated at one of the 20 open tables so early in the evening.
