Was in SD recently on vacation and had the good luck of stumbling across The Crack Shack. The food was amazing and the staff were too. I wish I could rate the sauces (I grabbed all of them) but I couldn’t stop eating my heavenly sammy (Cali Drip!!) and fries to try them! If you’re in the neighborhood do yourself a favor and get some.

Highly recommend! Their chicken game is out of this world! Delicious, fried to perfection and home made sauces to go with it. They were quick and had amazing customer service skills. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place is a gem. Who knew you could have high quality fried chicken so close to the airport. Our flight got delayed so I ordered expecting a mid experience but my expectations were blown out of the water. If the meal was this good delivered, I can only imagine what in dining will be like and I can't wait to fly back into SD.We ordered the small flock. The chicken is fried to perfection and the spices are on point. The biscuits are like fancy Popeye's biscuits but better. The French fries are some of the best I've ever had. Think of the best five guys fries you've had but more consistent. The nuggets are pure breast meat and comes with delicious sauces.Whenever I fly into SD, this is now a must stop for me.

One of my favorite fried chicken places in America. Chicken was super fresh, the spices were a great blend of flavor and spice.Wife had a grilled cheese with chicken and she said it was incredible. Tons of dipping sauces for fries as well with extra hot sauce for whoever is so inclined. Definitely will be going back every time I’m back in town.

I am so glad we changed dinner location to try something different. This place is very unique and a must try. You order your food, get a number, pick a seat, and food is brought to your table. Seating is open and there are activities such as corn holes. Everything is chicken based and there is pretty much everything for everyone including kids meal too. Make this a must visit when in town.

There were about 12 of us on a Thursday at lunch and we had no problem ordering and eating in 45 minutes - which is nice. Patio was great and so was the food. Staff were friendly and appreciative when we cleared our own table.

Fantastic chicken sandwich. When they say spicy, it's a bit spicy to a Midwest white guy, so it's pretty mild. Fries are crispy and fresh. Dipping sauces are all good in their own ways. Chocolate chip cookie was kinda pricy but really damn good.

I ordered the Firebird sandwich and it is quite spicy, for my taste it needs a sweet touch to contrast with the spiciness, the chicken is delicious, good portion, although the price is a little high, the mustard-pineapple dressing 1000 /10. The place in a half family atmosphere, half open-air bar

First class, very good food, great service and close to the SAN airport flight path, so you can watch planes.
