I was in San Diego, near the pier, for the day. When I Googled \"Vegetarian Restaurants\" The Good Seed Food Company\" was in the search results. Great rating and more than on comment about the great vegetarian food. Now, my bad, I didn't check the menu on their website, and made the short walk to their door. Great curb appeal! However, when I looked at the menu .. clearly not veg friendly. Very meaty actually. Bummer. However, for anyone looking for a great SD chill vibe, check it out. The staff was super kind and helpful and the fare is fresh and local when possible. I gave it a 4, however, obviously didn't eat the food. Just liked the vibe and the staff. Maybe it's a 5 if you're not looking for plant based food. ?

Maybe I just have different Taste buds but this place was not good. The deviled eggs had some weird sweet sauce on it. Just make regular deviled eggs. Those wings they claim are the best wings with no sauce are weird and chewy tasting

I do like what the Good Seed Food Company does with their food flavor combination and textures. For instance, I ordered these Beef Fried Country Ribs with a Peppercorn White Gravy and a Biscuit for $25. I thought it was a little steep for what you get, but I will elaborate on that later. The three short ribs were lightly breaded and fried which gave the ribs a nice texture when I bit into them to reach the tender beef below. The beef was super tender and delicious, and eaten in combination with the peppercorn white gravy, well it was just bliss. By the way, well done on the gravy. It offered a very light silky consistency and was nicely seasoned. The single biscuit was good, but I could not break through it with a fork, but with a knife instead. I though it could of been softer and fluffier. It tasted good however and was good eating with the gravy as well. Like I said earlier, although the meal was delicious, I thought it was a little skimpy for a meal or plate. When the young lady behind the bar explained it to me, she made sound like a plate. To me, this was more like a small plate or even a meal starter. I expected more and was not filled for $25. At that price, they should consider adding another biscuit, low over head, and perhaps a couple of dollops of creamy mashed potatoes, to make it seem more like a meal. I would pay $25 again if it came with those extras. I debating between a three to four star review. Three stars with my disappointment with the portion size, but four for the quality. Can I give a 3.5?

Such good food that we can't stop coming back! #STUPID WINGS!!!If you have never tried Chuy's stupid wings, then you don't yet know that these are the best chicken wings ever made on Earth! The spinach-artichoke dip is wonderful. The pickled veggies are a deliciously exciting surprise each time (based on the season, I presume). Our first order a few months ago had pickled grape tomatoes that we couldn't get enough of. Today we had beets and cauliflower that we fought over for dibs. Wow! And the butter pecan ice cream with olive oil and bourbon salt... don't get me started! I don't even like sweets (but my husband sure does!). This dessert pure joy. We always order it for takeout, but indulge in quick scoopfuls before driving home. NOM!The menu is constantly changing for the good, so enjoy the surprise! Most importantly, these are good people. They have beautiful hearts and a worthy purpose.Visit Good Seed Food Company in Miramar and pick up some cider or mead while you're there.Cheers!

Excellent food. Raises the bar on bar food. Enjoy some elk street tacos or other daily creations while sipping on mead and cider "next door".

Very good appetizer food. The wings are amazing and it pairs well with the Mead and cider the establishment shares with.

I've loved everything I've tried from The Good Seed Food Company. Thursday night I had the brisket sandwich and the meat was tender and falling apart - so good! I also have enjoyed their pickled veggies (inspired me to try pickling grape tomatoes and other veggies at home)! We had a spicy cauliflower dish a few months ago that was bomb. The bread is always fresh and fantastic. They make quality dishes! :)

Went for an impromptu dinner, and tried the mole grilled cheese, the tofu and shawarma tacos and the chicken wings; all of which were good, if a tad on the pricier side. The mead, however, was a revelation. The flight had each style bursting with flavor. That being said, mead is a sweeter drink since it is made from from honey. The ambience was a very relaxed, SoCal vibe; with indoor and outdoor seating space. Would recommend trying this place out. Their menu changes monthly so be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

This yummy little kitchen hides at Lost Cause Meadery brewery. You can order drinks from the brewery and order food from The Good Seed. I have to say, their foods are awesome!!! It's sooooo yummy, I love all the foods we ordered - the stupid wings, Szechuan cauliflower and ahi tuna tacos! You have to try all the these. By the way, the beers from Lost Cause Meadery is great too.
