Wish I could give it less stars. We just had to leave as the employee at the host stand on 03.02.24 @ 1:25am was a complete AHOLE. We were waiting patiently in line and then some guy walks in and gets seated before us and then another person gets up from his table and comes to the counter and pay for his meal. We had to tell the host we were here first even though it was pretty obvious he knew. And he just said aggressively "I'll be with you after". We decided to walk out because if this is how our experience started then we weren't gonna go through with it until the end

Shout out to Shannon and the Denny's staff for hosting our large party after Junior Theater! She really provided the best service and catered to 22 theater kids after their opening night. A1 service! Thank you!!

Avoid at all cost! Took 30 min to get coffee and water... The server acted as if she couldn't hear, the staff was very passive aggressive... worst experience ever.. not everyone is welcome here...

came to eat here at Dennys by mission valley today n I had such a great experience the service was excellent the server was such a great vibe and very interactive with every table not once did she break her smile or great service her name is SHANNAN CANT GO WRONG WITH HER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU HAVE TO ASKE HER FOR THE "CHILE DORADO" or "golden grilled seasoned jalapeños" their a must if u love spicy all in all great breakfast food was excellent and service was immaculate 10/10 for me my wife n fam

Decided I needed a burger so only good spot to hit is Denny's. Laisha welcomed us in and showed us to our table. She was very friendly and welcoming. Took our orders and the food came out super fast! I ordered the classic double cheeseburger w grilled onions and steak fries. She brought my burger out and included a side of ranch without me asking. Sorry for no pic but the burger was really delicious! Everyone was friendly, store clean and a great dining experience over all

only giving it a one star because i cant go lower. Been waiting 20 min for a coffee and water. Waitress is running around like a chicken with its head cut off, seating is a disaster. Somehow the whole restaurant smells like a porta potty. Skip this place. Dennys isn't what it used to be. over a 55min wait for just food (cold food).

What a terrible experience. Just ate here for breakfast, the food was average as it is at all denny's, that's not the problem, I know what I'm going to get going in. What I have a problem with is high expectations by the wait staff. My server was nice enough, nothing to write home about, average Service as well, nice, but not very talkative or over friendly. She never came back to check to see if I wanted a refill of water or anything else during my meal, just dropped my food off and then brought me the check at the end. Not really upset with the service in any way, just nothing to write home about. The problem I have is that when I went to pay my check at the cash register, a different server was taking my payment. When I put my card in the card reader, up Pops a screen that asks if you want to leave a tip, and of course there are different options, the lowest tip amount shows 18%, then I believe it was like 20%, then maybe 25%, what happened to 15%? Of course, there is an option below that to leave a custom tip amount, which is what I did, I left $3 on a $21 bill, which I think is very fair considering, now remember this, we are in america, tips are never mandatory! Why should I be punished for the fact that employers don't pay their employees enough? I should never have to pay an additional amount when I've already paid for a service or good that was provided. If it's mandatory then it should be included in the amount I would normally pay. I work a very hard job in construction and I never get tips, why do I have to tip everyone, every time there's a cash register with a pop-up screen asking for a tip? It's not fair. Now the really upsetting part about this experience came next, when the cashier looked at the amount that I tipped on her screen, and looked up and gave me a dirty look, as if I had stiffed her. I know that look, the look that says you didn't tip enough, whose business is it? Why is she judging my tip right there in front of me? Why does she get to decide how much I should pay extra in addition to what I'm already paying? That's the problem with today's service industry, expectations of additional money, it's no different than a homeless person coming up and shoving their hand in your face saying give me a dollar. Why do I have to give away the money that I worked for to pay for your comfort in life? Isn't that what your paycheck is supposed to be for? What your employer provides?

I went with my family & they informed us that the cook wouldn't be back for another 30 minutes. He was on a break....this was dinner time! They were nice about it, so it really didn't bother us until we heard the guy shooting the breeze with what sounded like his buddy! That was infuriating to hear.

July 10, 2023 between 1 and 2 a.m. This was the most disgusting, greasy, inedible crap I've every been served. EVER. Denny's is known as garbage but this was the jewel in it's crown. WHO IS COOKING AT THIS PLACE??? Would they have eaten that plate of hideous grease that they served me? Never again. I'll stop at a 7-11 and buy candy rather than eat at Denny's again. Avoid this location like the plague, people. It's particularly nasty. Denny's prices have been jacked through the roof for their fatty, sugary junk. Their sour dough is WHITE BREAD. $15.00 for a Slam? Pathetic. Never. Again.
