I went on a Saturday night - like late and night and it was okay. The DJ is good. It's definitely a level up from a dive bar if that is what you are looking for. I just got canned beer and it was okay. The pacifico is $7.

Update and last remarks: Just a warning that if you visit The Office Bar, you may be verbally and physically assaulted by the staff including bouncer/security and bartender/manager. I've read past reviews of the same bouncer assaulting others in the past, however, the owner and managers don't seem to care about that. I was called "attention seeking" and yelled at by the manager when he found out I left a Yelp review. I did what I had to do for myself and filed a police report with SDPD. I informed them I did not want to press charges for the assault, however, I wanted the incident documented since the bouncer/security entered my info on her phone while looking at my ID and I got email notification that day informing me someone looked up my background. I don't know the reason she took my personal info from my ID but in case of any future suspicious activity, I filed the report with SDPD. SDPD has her picture and video as well as others that were there during the incident. If this is how The Office Bar wants to do business, it's on them but I did what was necessary for me to move forward.

My friend stepped in the door paid the cover and then turned around to leave and they would not give her the money back for the cover charge back, really?!?you guys that hard up for cash? F-that B at the door.I will say the bouncers and support staff were very nice and respectful in dealing with the situation.This was last night (Jan 13th around 9:30). My friend even removed the stamp with the hand sanitizer. We were a large group that had been enjoying the bar for over an hour and my fiend was coming to meet us right as we were leaving to go have dinner. The woman taking money at the door was very rude. It’s only $5 so after arguing with her it wasn’t worth the effort to escalate to management, plus the bouncers acted like she was in charge, so the assumption was that she was management. She just soured our experience at your establishment. All of the other staff were great. The bartender took good care of us.

As we went through our night, my gf wanted to stop in to grab a drink and dance. It was empty at first, but the crowd began to grow. The dj was on fire and we had a blast. Was not expecting that, but must say we will probably be back.

It was great, I went there in New Year’s Eve Amazing music Was very young crowd For some reason , But one thing it confuses me Very much That In the club people was In pyjamas And some of them with hoodies Definitely not a class there but It was Great to spend 30 minutes And to have one drink.

Great place to hangout. I’ve been bringing people here for years but here’s the kicker. I get racism from the new security lady. I’m not sure if she is Latin on White but she seems to watch African America women closely in a negative way especially on Sundays. They play my Rasta music but I’m made to feel unwelcomed. Strange huh?!Parking: Sometimes I’ve parked blocks away….but the area was safe.
Cool bar but a cover charge on Sunday night? What is this, the mid 2000's? Kinda surprised. Gotta find parking, hope my car doesn't get broken into, pay $$ for drinks AND a cover on top? In this economy? Pass.

I love this place. It's a bar, no food is served but you can bring your own. I'm still impressed with the friendly staff and the warm welcome I get there.
