Food was good. Had the surf n turf quesadilla and the birria queso tacos. Drinks are strong and service was quick. Our server was Roseangle. She was tentative, friendly and even though the place was busy she didn't appear to be stressed. Everything was perfect.

Tuesday night open mic is a great time! Pozole is fantastic so the sweet spot is around 7:30-8pmish, when you can order a bite before the kitchen closes & refresh/relax with a lively spirit or cocktail!Comedy, spoken word, ballads, rap, & other forms of musicality-- all talents sign up!

The surf and turf tacos, the Cesar Salad and margaritas were so good i forgot to take pictures! The tacos were very flavorful, tasted like the taco i had in Mexico.

I have not eaten here yet but will and I understand the food is impeccable. The atmosphere is awesome and comfortable. The service is professional and friendly. Bartenders really care about their jobs and the establishment. Entertainment is great! I have now been here 3 nights in a row. So much fun!!Had the fish and chips, OMG, amazing isn't complementing enough!

Service 15/10Our server was the absolute MAN. So attentive, friendly, and even tossed in a few NYE shots for for for no reason. Food 9/10For pub food, hard to beat. The wings were amazing. The fries super crispy and perfect, quesadilla perfect. You'll be happy and leave full. Atmosphere 9.5/10Perfect comfortable booths. Good Latin music. People laughing and smiling. Not sure why this place isn't more busy! Visit. You won't regret.

Early evening happy hour! $5 house margaritas and street taco dishes. The shrimp tacos were fun! Guacamole solid.

Used to have Irish theme and has changed to a Mexican one. If you look around you can still see a shamrock here or there. Overall it has a upbeat atmosphere and is a fun place in

Live music was great by a solo guitarist named Bobby Tune. He had a list of 200 great songs that he played and sung. The drinks were okay but the Mexican candy shots were small shots but expensive. The server was very friendly but did mess up our order and it wasn't busy at the time.

Absolutely terrible! Went here for my 40th birthday. Lured in with free drinks. Drinks were cheap. Food was way expensive. But the worst part: 25% mandatory tip at the end of the night for our party! Surprise! I will never go back and hope you all don’t make the mistake of going here either. If I could give it less than one star I would.

Bad food, bad service, deceptive business practices.Despite having a reservation link on their website, the waitress was very confused when I mentioned a reservation, but found a table after about 10 minutes. While I waited, other confused people kept coming up to me asking if I worked there because they were looking for seats. Once I was seated I saw a lot of people line up at the door for a seat and leave after 5-10 min of being ignored by staff. Despite multiple tables open in and outside.Service was bad: Once seated I was neglected for a while and then finally they came to take drink orders. Very quick to tell me that the beer I ordered was out of stock, but somehow it took another 15 min to pour the replacement. Table seated 20 min after me got their food 15 minutes before me.Food was awful: Mole was bland and disappointingly dry. Worst mole sauce ever. Rice was flavorless and too hard to eat. Despite arriving on a "hot plate" the food was colder than the plate and had many cold patches throughout as if it had been microwaved unevenly. Very disappointing that a Mexican place doesn't offer complimentary chips and salsa with meal. Margarita was watery and bland.Check has an additional 5% "credit card surcharge" that is not disclosed until the bill is delivered. Maybe that's why I saw 3 different people approach the waitresses or bartenders about issues with their checks while I was waiting for food?

Such a great neighborhood restaurant and bar! You have to try this place.I think it is the most underrated restaurant in the gaslamp. Rose was my server and she was great. So personable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and go here for breakfast lunch and/or dinner. The food is always great! The chef and food are so good. It is menu with traditional items and newer Mexican dishes. Look up the history of Los Patrios.Hey they have Guiness as well!
