Come for Thursday for the $1 wings. That's right folks, just $1! The wings are pretty flavorful and came out quickly. I really enjoyed the wet rub wings, especially the Thai chili flavor. My least favorite was the lemon pepper, which was a bit sour for me. Are they the best wings I've ever had? Probably not. Did they hit the spot? Absolutely. Would I return for the great wing deal? Definitely!Great selection of beers to pair the wings with as well. Reasonable prices for all the beers. Great service.

This place is GREAT! Wow the beer selection is really nice. The whole bar is so much fun. As we were headed in a huge group of Mrs. Roapers were headed out so we snapped a photo, the food is really good here! Loved the chips and the poutine and the desert doughnut balls, I wish this place was closer because it was a great time! The inside is decorated so cute and they have an arcade machine. The way they do the food orders is so cool, they slide the order on the ceiling across a string into the kitchen. Totally worth visiting if you are in the area.

Beer selection is varied... there's something there for everyone. We tried a bunch of things foodwise... three different kinds of wings (the double x had the perfect amount of heat... hot but bearable, and both the Thai chili and old bay were delicious), the giant pretzel, tater tots, mac and cheese bites, and I had a brat with grilled peppers and onions on a bun. All were excellent. I will note that the tots and m&c bites were a little on the greasy side...not a complaint; they tasted great but my wife struggles a bit with greasier food so if that's you now you know.Service at the bar was friendly and quick, especially considering it was pretty busy (Thursdays are $1 wing nights). There's a unique and hilarious way of getting your food order after you place it at the bar. I won't spoil that if you've never been... With all the food we ordered and the drinks, it still came to under $100. One last note...it's a dive bar and not necessarily a place you'd take kids but they are welcome at the tables. My 9 and 11 year olds were with us and not only were they welcomed, but one of the staff told me they had bar games behind the bar and I could grab one for the kids if I wanted... so they had an impromptu jenga game while we were eating. I wouldn't recommend this place if your kids aren't ready to sit at a table and not act up or run around, but if they can do that they will get along fine here. It's a dive bar with all that entails, but both the staff and clientele could not have been friendlier.My only disappointment was that I never did see Greedy Gretchen. (IYKYK)

The Regal Beagle is one of my favorite beer bars, with an elite lineup of rotating taps to please your palate on any given day. Wing day at regal (whether it be Wednesday at the Seagull or Thursday at the Beagle) is a religious experience. I can’t get enough of the old bay dry rub with double X sauce on the side for a midweek pick-me-up.

My buddy and I were in the mood for wings and were in the Hillcrest area. We must've searched for a good wing place for about 20 minutes and kept coming up short, then we came across the Regal Beagle and said what the heck do we have to lose. We were totally surprised at how great the food was, the chopped cheese was super cheese almost like a Philly and the wings were crispy and saucey perfection. I can't wait to go back.
