Love the atmosphere here, everyone is quite happy. The food is fairly priced, at least for this area. Salsa bar is nice. Baja taco is my favorite, one of the best fish tacos I had so far. The carne asada has good flavor, but a bit tough for my taste. Maybe it just my luck today. Will come back for more.

Fresh made orders. Fresh tortillas and tortilla chips. Got the pastor, carne asada and Baja. It was really good. Indoor and outdoor seating but limited.

everything about the taco stand is fabulous. Every time I'm in there's a young lady there that helps me out all the time her name is Kyleigh... she is a fabulous young lady and has great customer service and helps you out at all cost. I live around the corner and I love this place. I enjoy the Carne asada Vulcan, and the California burrito...must have!!

The BEST churro I probably ever have had. Tacos were SD tacos so good lol. Service was solid, long lines but try ordering ahead online if you plan on going durning lunch or dinner times.

Off the rip I decided to try this place at night more specifically 8pm. I ordered the cali burrito because I noticed that's what they're known for. Of course the service was great and welcoming the people working are very kind and friendly. The main issue however for me initially was the proportions of the burrito. I was disappointed from the beginning then I took the first bite and instantly realized this burrito was the definition of less is more. The combination of steak with the fries with the guacamole and everything else that I cannot remember off my head was exceptional. Lastly the layout of the restaurant was versatile for either eating or taking out which I find appealing for customers like myself. So for this 1st experience? Definitely a recommendation!

I found this place through Yelp and a totally delivered. Food was probably the best tacos and burritos I've ever had in my life and the service was really friendly and everything was fresh and delicious salsa bar was incredible. I loved it might be not enough seating. This is a problem at a lot of San Diego's best restaurants and this is no different, you might stand around waiting for a table, but it's totally worth it.

I went here to try a fish taco since this small mostly-local chain's fish taco got good reviews. Yes, it is good stuff. Crispy fish, fresh veggies, nice tortillas, chipotle sauce is nice, and it didn't take too long to get it. They also have a little bar where there are a bunch of salsas you can try; I ended up trying the cilantro salsa and La Salsa Macha. The latter is especially good but it does have to be said that it definitely does not go with the fish taco (you can't hold that against the place since not every salsa they have is going to work with everything on the menu). The price is also reasonable, costing about as much as one of the bottles of Mexican Coke. Otherwise the place feels good with the Spanish-language television and music on and the tables and chairs having the aesthetic of local hole-in-the-wall. If I went back I would get a fish taco plus something that would be better to put La Salsa Macha on.

I recently stopped by the Taco Stand during a visit to San Diego for a conference. The last time I was at one of their locations was in 2018 and the amazing memories from that meal definitely drew me back! This location is small with a handful of tables but there is frequent turnover of clientele so getting a spot to eat isn't difficult. They have plenty of taco and burrito options, and two tacos is probably enough for a meal but it's hard not to order three! My personal favorite are the Al pastor and the grilled pescado. They have a selection of sodas, beers, and of course Jarritos to accompany the meal. There is a salsa station where you can load up on all different styles and spice levels of salsa. Price point is also quite affordable. Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip!

I enjoyed the tacos very much. The Sonora tacos were my favorite. Good quality and full of flavor. I love that they have a salsa bar loaded with limes. The corn on the cob was also pretty good. The service was good with a little bit of urgency which I like. The tables and floor could use a little bit more cleanup. I will definitely here again.
