Recently dined here with a friend and had a lovely experience. The food was good (especially the mushroom toast) and the service was excellent! Every single person who came to our table was friendly and helpful. Bonus, free and easy parking.

Portions small. Food generally under seasoned. Snails so so. 1/3 of a breast of duck and some mixed veg from Vons . Reviews who talk about hamburgers should be removed. Deserts expensive. Won't go back

Everyone was so courteous and helpful. It was my Mom's 86th birthday and everyone treated her royally. I've always loved this restaurant. The food is excellent and the surroundings just perfect!

I’m in the hospitality industry, stay at 5+ resorts, and feel I’m a service connoisseur to some extent…In short, I know service. However, the various and endless efforts of Kat and Ry to make our experience the best ever, was unprecedented. From offering tastes and recommendations to sending us home with chilled leftovers, there was so much more you can’t put on paper. Thank you, Ladies, for being so amazing and reminding me why the hosp industry is so important and THE BEST! Keep shining! You’re making an impact!

So happy to have rediscovered this restaurant. Close to home and the food and service are outstanding! The dining room could really use a makeover which takes away from the overall experience. Caught in a time warp. But we can't say enough about the food and service here. Fabulous!!!

This restaurant continues to be one of the hidden gems of San Diego. The new chef appears to be on his A-game. The prices have increased and, as a result, its not the value that it used to be but the quality is still there.

Had a nice meal a while back. French-style menu seems simple and classic, but executed excellently. Great service and experience

Our favorite elegant San Diego dining. Moro is the finest waiter we have experienced in the city over the last 20 plus years. Consistency is so hard to achieve but Winesellar manages to do just that every time we visit.

Wow what A nice little gem. This is my second time here and overall had a wonderful experience. Value: This is a great value with the caliper food and wine choices available. We were able to enjoy french wine without breaking the bank. Portion size: this is a great place for people who watch their weight like I do. The portions are small and delicious and not heavy. desert is small, delicious, and will keep your waist line tight . Flavor: I order the duck and it came up a little short in the flavor department. In all fairness the breast was perfectly done but the leg was dry and lacked flavor. special note the french press coffee was outstanding. Service: service was great, the waitress that served us admitted she did not serve during dinner time but overall did a great job. Overall I high recommend this gem for a casual dinning experience.

Nice quiet setting for a Tuesday night dinner. Service was excellent. Water glasses were always full, wine glasses were topped up. Entree recommendations were spot on. Sea Bass special was delicious. Rib eye was an interesting presentation, but very good. Wife's petite filet was perfect. We also enjoyed unusual desserts including balsamic strawberries with ice cream. Prices were reasonable, staff was very friendly and attentive.

Creative French inspired offerings. Had watermelon salad and scallops paired with a Pinot Grigio. Pan seared sea bass at another time. Excellent, attentive service and a menu that doesn't get tired. Easy to park at. A bit difficult to find the first time.

Going to the brasserie reminded me how much I missed this place. It really is a hidden gem in the middle of Sorrento Mesa/Mira Mesa. I think I will go here for my next dinner before I go to La Jolla Playhouse. It's great for business meetings, I also think it's great for date nights. it is a a little formal with white tablecloths REALLY silver plate ware, and attentive waiter/waitress. We had a wonderful carrot ginger soup, followed by a perfectly prepared Seabass with crisp skin. The three of us dining on great food was less than $140 (lunch, so no alcohol.) For those unfamiliar, the location will surprise you, but once you're inside, you will get lost in the world of the Brasserie. Again, highly recommended for business lunches, or for a higher class, more formal date night. You won't find booming base or hipsters here, but you may well find the innovators and movers and shakers of San Diego.
