We threw a surpise birthday party for my husband here at Thorn Brewing. Morgan at Thorn helped me reserve half the venue for the party, we were able to bring in our own food/cake and with about 15 adults we hit the minimum for a beer tab during the 4 hrs we were there. I would recommend this place for a small party/get together. Good beer and great service!

Come for Wednesday trivia - what a great host and spot. Lots of beers of various varieties in tap. I'm not a beer drinker but they had a great strawberry seltzer. Thorn doesn't sell food, but you can bring your own and we saw tables with pizza and chipotle. Dog friendly, ski ball machines, indoor and outdoor seating. Order drinks at the bar. Our table was super sticky, and so was the bar which was a big of a turn off. Lots of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.

Bruh I had a delicious and refreshing sour, and more importantly, I seen a doggo pull up and the doggo behind the bar really was like "ayy what up fam" and it warmed my heart. Furthermore, a couple with a practically newborn baby pulled up, and if a couple with a baby pulls up to a taproom, that means that they trust that the patrons therein are respectful and not problematic, even after a few beers. 10/10 establishment

Stopped by here after HH Oyster Monday at Ft. Oak down the sidewalk. I'm not a fan of beer, but my friend is, so we checked it out. Beer of choice: Oatmeal Stout. Verdict: it was good. I didn't check out the menu so I can't comment on variety or price, but the place seems chill with a couch and bar seating. They even have a small gaming section near the lounge area. Neat! Totally hip place to relax, unwind and enjoy a cold one or two. Patio seating is also available. To note: if you need to use the restrooms, you have to ask for the code and walk out the doors to the right and around the corner. I'd be down to hang out here again with some beer loving friends for sure! Check it out!!

Atmosphere 5/5Service 5/5Beer 4/5Ok no lie I’ve had more complex, tastier beers. The two I had here were good don’t get me wrong! But I would come back for the awesome beertender and the super chill laid back vibes here. Another patron dropped her keys in a weird gap in the outside deck area and the beer tender literally rigged up multiple tools (hanger, duct tape, broomstick) to retrieve the keys and it took a solid 20 minutes of working at it until she finally got the keys back. Where else are you going to find service like that??? Also the bar was hosting a fun ceramics painting pop up and seemed to have other fun things going on during the week, like trivia night and a plant store pop up. Dog friendly, chill spot, good beer!

Went here during a visit recently. My Father was in hospital and they were awesome. Thank you to the bartender. She was the best and to the other customers that day there with me I really appreciate the friendliness and great time. Was much needed. Def visit here if in or out of town
