I had a long layover at the San Diego airport on February 17, 2024. We ordered and enjoyed a great brick oven pizza. I attempted to order another slice but slices were not sold so I returned to my seat. Fifteen minutes later the pizza man brought me a whole pizza and would not accept any money for the pizza or tip. This was truely a remarkable experience at a remarkable Pizzeria.

Ridiculously overpriced..Probably the most expensive pizza I have had . I was using a mental math . 10 g olives that they put in the pizza $2.50 ..The cheese pizza which is a small pizza starts at $14 plus taxes. OUTRAGEOUSLY PRICED

Good pizza, small pies.

Prepare to be underwhelmed. Two stars as they did nail the form factor of pizza: round dough with sauce and cheese.

I'm used to disappointing airport food. But the food at Tony V's Pizzeria is disappointing and expensive. Two strikes. My husband and I ordered a sausage pizza to share while waiting for our flight. We couldn't afford to each buy a pizza here. You could barely taste the sauce. The sausage was severely under-seasoned and if you didn't see it, you may not realize that you were eating it. The staff was very nice and the palm trees in the food court create great ambiance but the product was very disappointing. There have to be better options at the airport available.

No way did I just eat this quality of pizza in an airport. It slaps, it bangs, it slapbangs. 5*****

Had to wait 15 mins for 3 pizzas so didn’t have much time to sit down and have my lunch at the table

Pizza is bland, undercooked, and my order was wrong. I will.

The pizza was good, not crazy amazing and only in one size. Airport food so you get what you get.

I tried the italian sausage pizza, very lite, crunchy crust, excellent tasting pizza. 14.00 not bad, snack between flights at San Diego Airport

The veggie pizza I ordered was not too bad and a good filling during taxiing and take off.

"True Neapolitan pizza" 'sto ceppo! I doubt they ever had Neapolitan pizza before choosing to use the Denominazione di Origine Protetta (DOP) trademark that only true Neapolitan pizza can have. This is a smaller version of a generic pizza you can buy pretty much anywhere in USA. If you're hungry, go ahead and buy it but don't expect a good pizza. Especially for the price!

Chose this spot for lunch as the rest of the shops and food spots were running anemic. The whole airport is kind of ghost town. The deal at Tommy V’s is every additional topping is $1.89 extra on top of the cost of the $11.00 cheese pizza. The pizza came out hot and crispy. The topping however were canned but can be expected from the airport. They did have some of their own seasonings and flavorings that gave it some much needed character. Would have liked more sauce on the pizza and for the topping and cheese to fill out the pie with less pure crust. Good enough for a $19 personal pizza.

Very greasy definitely not a great spot if you're craving some really good pizza, pretty acceptable if you're hungry but don't set your expectations high. Bad crust, weird cheese that almost makes the pizza soggy. Overpriced, because it's an airport.
