Great spot for ramen! Love coming here on a weekend night after spending the day in balboa Park. Unique style, great food and fun cocktails.

It's a cute place. I order the Thai Curry Ramen. It was very water down and it had no favor. I expected a thick/favorful broth. I had only a few bites then left.

Ramen was fantastic and had food for kids. Line out the door was a good indicator.

Came when there was a longish looking line but it went by really quickly and was in 10 mins and food was really quick. Got the belly of the beast and underbelly, broth was good, oxtail dumplings were great as well. Decent ramen place.

As you know, parking is always tricky in North Park but there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. The service was so quick. We got water and as we turned around our food was already delivered to our table. They have self serve water (plain and sparkling) outside. I love how spacious outdoor/bar seating is on the patio. The music was great. A great vibe overall. I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and craving some bomb ramen!Food review:Underbelly ramen: (5/5) The noodles, meat, and broth were all perfection in this bowl of ramen! It was a good portion and the meat was SO tender and delicious!Tonkotsu ramen: (5/5) The noodles were cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful, the soft boiled egg is always my favorite part, and the broth is delicious, I could just drink bowls of it. It's not super heavy and has so much flavor.Beef gyoza: (4/5) These were tasty, but there was not as much filling/meat inside as we like.Short rib bao: (3.5/5) The meat was very tender, but the coleslaw and spicy mustard didn't mesh well together in my opinion. I ate the meat, pickle, and bun and it was delicious. It comes with 2 buns, so plenty to share!

I do not recommend ordering online for pick up. The food was cold even though we came before the allotted pick up time and they forgot a side. Unfortunately we ordered through Toast as a guest so there is no way to be refunded? Hoping I will enjoy it more in person!

I feel their ramen is not to par. It's from a bag, and their broth is, too. I have made better using the kits from the Asian market. I lived in Japan, where ramen is from, and I ate ramen from a lot of places, including random ones. All were better. I hear their cocktails are good from my friend, and they also have other choices on their menu. I'm just rating their ramen.

Easily the worst ramen ive ever had in SD. I had the belly of the beast and wish i hadnt. The meat was overcooked, the oxtail dumplings were disgusting, and the ramen broth tasted like watered down miso soup. Friend had thai red curry ramen and it tasted like water and sesame oil. Go to HiroNori or Tajima instead.Service was ok. Staff was friendly but they dont serve their ramen with a spoon because they expect you to drink out of the bowl.No idea why this place is rated so high on google.

This place was such a surprise, I was afraid it was going to be one of those overhyped trendy spots. But it was delicious, the service was friendly and the food came out really fast! We had ordered a sake that they must have forgotten to bring out right away so they gave us an extra order of sake on the house which was way beyond what was needed. You order as you enter so don’t let the line scare you. The atmosphere inside is also a nice open space.

Both times I went there (separated by months) the Ramen was lukewarm. The Yaki-Gyoza tasted like it had been waiting for us 10 minutes before getting to the table. Both times it was very crowded with a line out the door, so I have no idea how all the food served wasn't hot and felt old.
