Here for a medical conference and wanted something different. As a vegan it’s sometimes difficult to find good options. I’m glad I chose this place and I loved my dish the Aloo Matar Curry served with Basmati rice ? and I also ordered a side of Garlic Naan to complement my meal ?. Let’s just say making naan tacos with the rice and Aloo Mater curry stew was exactly what my soul needed. The food was amazingly delicious and finger licking good.
The chai was not quite authentic masala chai, but the portion size was excellent. For my main course, I ordered chicken biryani and made a special request for it to be spicy. The spice level was just right, and the overall taste was very enjoyable.

I visited this restaurant on 3/26/2024. Amazing customer service. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and naan. The food is just okay. The masala sauce was a bit watery but the excellent customer service made up for it. I’ll try another dish the next time I’m in town.

I've never been asked by a server when ordering if I've read the menu until last week when we came here for lunch. The lunch menu's super confusing, and they should change it instead of drilling the customers. The food was good. The service was maddening.

I’ve been going to Urban India about for about 10 years now. It’s my all time favorite Indian food in San Diego, whether it be take out or I eat there everything is always excellent. I’ve tried about every single item on the menu and you can just tell they use high quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The perfect patio to people watch during comic on and other major events.They even have a dj on the weekend playing Latin music and reggaeton. Go for dinner then stay for the music and the vibes. 10/10 recommendVegetarian options: They have many vegan and vegetarian options. Good place to go with people with different dietary restrictions
