These guys deserve 4 stars alone for having the courage to re-open their lunch buffet, despite the collusion among all other Indian restaurants in San Diego to keep their buffets closed. Those other places lost my business permanently. Yes prices are up, but nowadays that is unfortunately harder and harder to prevent. Their lunch price is still on par with most other small business buffets that I've seen lately. It's a very small buffet but it's definitely tasty! I wish they had saag paneer though. They also have naan if you request it. There is only 1 server working during lunch so naan and drink service can be slow sometimes, but this is clearly a small family business, so I cut them some slack. The plentiful traditional Indian decor and international new shows on TV could easily trick someone into thinking they're really in India. It all goes together with the food well.

This place is no longer open. To be fair, the only reason I’m giving it one star is that I drove with my entire family there to break our Ramadan fast only to find it out of business with no message on their phone or a notification online.

We tried the $13.99 buffet today. It's an extra $2 for the garlic naan and for any drinks. The food was great! Very good service. They made sure we were filled up with water and that we had everything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit!

Appears to be a change of management, and an upgrade to the menu. The price also went down to 13.99! For a buffet!

Great food. I stumbled across the lunch buffet here because Every Table had their doors locked around 1130am. I'll definitely be recommending this place and returning in the future

Daily Buffet meals is expensive and over priced compared to "Annapurna Indian cuisine " located on mira mesa & camino ruiz, which is just $12.99 unlimited.Compared to other restaurants with 2 item combo and 3 item combo prices very expensive and the quantity of the carries is very limited which is really feels like not sufficient for Roti or Rice. But I recently had unlimited buffet for the price $12.99 at Annapurna Indian cuisine and items are really good and tasty, chicken curry, chicken Tikka masala, paneer butter masala, potato fry, Veg curry, all unlimited Bonad, Papad, Naan, Rice, Daal, Idli, Chutneys, Salad etc Vegetable rice and much more with nice desserts for just $12.99 only.I really enjoyed the unlimited food and the chicken is so yummy and tasty(Available on Tuesady, Wednesday, Thursday at $12.99 only with unlimited buffet)On weekends it's many more items than above mentioned at a price of $19 unlimited...

Food and variety from buffet are good. Service was poor as they just tell you to sit anywhere when you walk in while not making any eye contact. Felt a little lost at first. Water glass was empty without coming by often enough to check on us. Come at your own risk.

I ordered paneer tikka masala, lamb Rogan Josh, naan, and paneer paratha. Rogan Josh was good. However, the paneer tikka masala I received was watery and had no resemblance in taste to what paneer tikka masala should be. In fact, it had no taste at all. After eating it, I fell sick, experiencing nausea and vomiting. Furthermore, all the naans were burnt, and the paneer paratha was such that my husband couldn't even take a guess which paratha it was. Usually I don't give such bad reviews but I had no choice here.

2 stars for service and hospitality. If you're indian, you'll probably feel like the food is super bland. It is fresh and refilled promptly, though. But I get it,they are trying to cater to the locals. Not for me but if you're trying to explore indian food, this could be a starting point.

I was not all that hungry so got the lunch special to go. I got the chicken curry, and the tandoori chicken. It came with fresh hot naan, and some rice. It was tasty and authentic. Next time I'm real hungry I'll try the buffet. My one and only critique would be the little bit of salad was served atop the hot food, so if you want a nice cool fresh crisp salad leave that want at the door. It does save on containers, and therefore waste, but perhaps they can put it on a foil wrap to keep it semi separated. Anyways it's still a great value and delicious so I'll accept that minor flaw.
