Quaint. There is no way to describe this little gem of a wine, bar and olive oil shop. You feel like you are in Carmel, California with the warm tones, the ocean view, great wine choices, and light appetizers. The service was excellent, friendly and responsive. We will definitely be coming back.

The bread and olive oil are the tastiest things I've ever tasted. The salt in the crisp edges of the rustic bread explodes in your mouth. The wine is all top shelf and delicious. The best part besides the amazing food and drinks is the view. Grab a date for a romantic evening taking in the La Jolla coast while getting tipsy, or bring your favorite friends for a fun experience. I highly recommend this well kept secret gem in La Jolla.

Went here on a Friday night for a small plate of food and a bottle of wine. Closing time is advertised as 9pm. Sat at 8pm and were told we couldn’t have food. Had one glass of wine while we searched for an alternative still serving food.Now it’s 8:30pm and we’re next door. Don’t be in the service industry if you don’t want to serve!

We absolutely love working with We Olive! They have the best customer service and are extremely knowledgeable about the products they have in stock. The Wine Bar is a very cute spot with beautiful views and the food is delicious! Be sure to try their cheese board. Highly recommend you check them out soon!

Strange experience with gift card... I was gifted a We Olive gift card for Christmas 2022. I visited the LaJolla location on at least two occasions in 2023 hoping to spend it but I was told the gift card machine was broken and the company that owned the gift card reader did not have a target date to fix it. A manager reached out and offered to assist me with the gift card, but told me if the card was purchased online it could only be spent online. I went to the We Olive website and attempted to purchase olive oil with my gift card but I was told by a We Olive representative out of Paso Robles that the gift cards are incompatible with the website. Fortunately, she provided me with the phone number of another representative who was able to assist me. The representative confirmed, too, that the gift cards can only be spent at on-site locations. I'm not quite sure why I had to put this much effort into buying olive oil but here we are.
I always love their seasonal mimosas and highly recommend.

Great spot for a little wine tasting with friends! Parking in the area can be challenging. The service was great and very friendly. I really enjoyed their Malbec! We had very nice conversations with friends; great atmosphere.
