Great place for artisan tapas and curated wine PLUS killer happy hour till 6 even on Saturday. Their mango lychee sangria is amazing! Their take on traditional tapas was also quite refreshing - like the date hummus and the spicy aioli papas. Jason our waiter was super nice as well.

The wine and food is always great here. Even my first time, the service was great too. However, this past time we went we made a reservation and confirmed it. When we arrived, they claimed the reservation was for an earlier time even though we had an email confirmation confirming our time. They were extremely rude and went back and forth with us as if it were our fault that Yelp had sent them the wrong time. They (through gritted teeth) sat us even though the establishment was fairly empty. The server was rude and short with us and overall provided a terrible experience from the moment we walked in. I use to love coming here and telling people about this place. Won’t be returning.

My friend and I came here looking for a quiet little wine bar and this place did not disappoint! They had a fun wine list and we tried wines from different countries like Georgia. The food was delicious and unique. It had a cozy home cooked vibe. The staff was so nice and sincere. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit San Diego. Thank you!

We have been coming to the establishment for many years and we love the new menu additions. The wine is always a delicious surprise. This time we try the Romanian red wine and the Croatian white wine. The meal was simply incredible and we love the waiting staff. Christian, the owner, is knowledgeable and incredibly talented with his vision of food and wine

Can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place yet! Wet Stone is a lovely little neighborhood wine bar with an array of tapas options. They have some great traditional and experimental wines including a flight with 3 tastes of nice selections presented in test tubes. The tapas options have Mediterranean and Peruvian influences, and were very good. Tasty pita bread.Nice ambience and great music. You can sit outside, inside, or inside by the big window. Communal tables facilitate conversation. My one suggestion is they might consider upgrading their audio system, which I only say because the music was bomb.Excellent service. Will be back!

What a great find! Went here after a Sunday matinee in Balboa Park. Street parking in a late Sunday afternoon was easy.Shared a cheese, meat and fruit board and a bottle of our favorite kind of wine (Chilean Carmenere).Super romantic. Perfect end to our weekend! Will def be back!

wine bar means you have more than 5 wines actually available, cheese board had like 4 mouthfuls of cheese, website menu is very jank, flatbread bread texture was weird, and more generally confused concepts: mango salad with 4 bites of mango? chocolate guava bread pudding with overshadowed guava flavor and bread pudding with no texture? and random intl dishes (the moqueca was amazing tho, ceviche great too)? food was a bit slow too...

A group of friends and I hosted an engagement celebration here a few weeks ago and cannot commend the venue on how easy they made it for us- they let us take over the back corner of the space and let us decorate and set up as we needed. Staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout, always making us feel attended to. Would highly recommend using this location for your small private events! Will definitely be back in the future!

This place is awesome. I've been 2 or 3 times now. The decor is really cute. The food and drinks are great (I love the red sangria - if you like a hint of cinnamon in your sangria you'll like this one!). And the owner is so kind and welcoming. Can't wait to keep going back!

Quaint location in Bankers Hill. Busy coffee shop vibes. Great happy hour and friendly service. There was only one waitress and you wouldn’t know it.
