Place was fast and efficient and portion size was decent. Anything lobster is on the expensive side but I felt like pricing was pretty good here. The sauce they used is tasty and the coleslaw was nice on the lobster tacos.

I love coming here for events like SD Hosted. The space is very cool and well decorated. I like the secret room and staff is cool. The food was pretty good but the fries are awesome. If you get any food make sure it comes with fries!

Came here a few times before the name change and ownership change. And been here a few times since. Basically the same place which is okay with me because it was a 4 star place to begin with. You pretty much know what to expect when you get here. Comfy couch. Moderate priced drinks. Food thats nothing to rave about but super cool people to just chop it up with. I want a chill spot to go to. Not overly crowded. People who nod what's up. Bartenders that are okay with you babysitting your drink because they care about the experience not because they want to upsell you. I love the colors of the place. Thats been an upgrade over the previous owners. It's super vibrant. This is my I need to leave the house but don't wanna get all cute place for a Tuesday night drink. And because I know what it is and have that expectation, this place never disappoints. The ambiance gives off a vibe like I walked into someone's basement that they redid. It isn't dingy or dark. It feels like they took the concrete walls and designed and made the most out of it. Attached is a small room that acts like a speakeasy. It's available to rent out. There's a separate bar there too. Attached to building in their patio is Sideyard BBQ. Which has tables, strobe lights, and different music playing. Probably more like a 3.75 place than a solid 4 but really you can't complain much since it's what I consider a weekday spot.

I love their lobster rolls I just wish they were bigger! They are quite expensive for a small roll. Service is standard Ambiance is fun, right in little Italy

VERY OVERPRICED !!! For what you really get if you are hungry. $30 for a small portion of MAINE LOBSTER MEAT Combo in a tiny 3 bite sandwich. ( That's $10 / bite ). Nothing to really write back home about or make you satisfied. A grown man would need 3 of those lobster rolls for a Lunch; that would be $120 each ; or $360 for the 3 of us; and all of us are under 200 lb. We also ordered the Clam Chowder ; and that was a CHEAT too. The bread was at least a day old !!! And they bore the tiniest hole in it ; without removing any of the sides; so the amount of soup they could fit in it was SO SMALL !!! It had no more than 3 Tablespoons full of clam chowder; and I couldn't find a single piece of Clam; it was a Cream based soup with lots of potatoes; that's it !!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this place to even my worst enemy; let alone a Friend or Family. We will NEVER be coming back to this place. THIS IS A total RIPOFF, BEWARE. The owner is probably laughing his head off in a Luxury Penthouse in Maine ; about how he fools those gullible clients in SD and makes Millions $$$ , feeding them STALE Bread. I wish I had focused and read the negative reviews BEFORE I had ordered a sandwich for $30 !!!! Definitely not worth it at all ; unless you grow your money on a Tree or Print it at Home. Even then ; you are much better off going to a REAL Lobster Restaurant for a full meal instead of this TINY Lobster Roll . WE were CON'ed Yesterday; Hope you read this and are not.

I first saw this place on IG. All I thought was "that food looks damn good." So my wife and I decided to try it for date night. Wow! The food was so good we ate it 2 days in a row. Yes, 2 days in a row. We literally wanted to see if it was that good. And yes, it was. Here is something that was surprising, I ordered to go the second day and ate it when I got home and I was still satisfied. Here are the positives1. Customer ServiceThe staff always has a smile and they are very friendly. I've never had one problem there. 2. Wait timeLiberty Station has a lot of customers and can be packed from time to time. The staff always get the food out quickly and they tell you up front if they are expecting the food to take longer. 3. Food Quality and TasteThe food is just good! Plain and simple the food is good people! I mean good! 4. French FriesI am a French fry person. I judge restaurants by their quality of French fries. They don't disappoint The Negatives1. Very Expensive For my wife and I we spent $80 for our meal. My wife got the Cali Roll which was $30. That's a little extreme if you ask me. I'd go there more but I don't want to spend $80 on this place bi weekly. 2. Food varietyI feel they need to add to their food choices. Maybe expand a little. However, I will say that the food is so good it's hard to explore the rest of the menu because I am so stuck on the fried fish and Cali Roll. 3. SeatingLiberty Station is always busy. If it''s the weekend and it's busy you might as well order to go because you won't find seating. All in all. I'd put this restaurant in my top 10 in San Diego. I think, I repeat, I think the food is that good. Customer Service (10/10)Ambiance (6/10)food Quality (10/10)Food Taste (10/10)Pricing (5/10) my opinion way to expensive

Not for me honestlyI came here the other day because I was in the mood for lobster, plus I work in the area. I've been to other restaurants in the liberty station food market before and I was excited to try this out.Parking: I did arrive 10 minutes before opening which allowed a fair amount of parking for me. During lunchtime, parking could be a bit of a hassle that's close to the building. Also, if the lot is full there are other openings for parking across the street which doesn't present an issue for anyone.Wait: due to my arriving early, I was the first in line. Can't put an input on that. The time it took for me to receive my food was about 15 minutes which with it being lobster, I can understand that.Customer Service: The worker was courteous and professional, she did a great job. Nothing but good things to say about her.Food: I ordered the lobster tacos and the lobster sliders which looked delicious, especially from the menu. Based on the photos they looked amazing and I couldn't wait to dig in. On the first bites of the taco it seemed flavorless to me and upon finishing it, it didn't have much flavor to it. I can taste everything, but there wasn't any flavor that stuck out to me. The same goes for the sliders, the distinct flavor that I tasted was from the Hawaiian rolls sadly. Everything tasted fresh, but it lacked flavor which I'm not a fan of. When it comes to seafood I understand that Lobster is served fresh, but my personal preference would be to have butter on the side of some type of seasoning for the lobster.I might try their seafood platter if I were to visit here again, but the lobster, knowing how it tastes, probably not. I would still recommend this area to someone if they want to try it out. Each person's palette is different so what might not be good to me, might be great for you.3/5

AMAZINGLY FRESH & NO DOUBT DELICIOUS LOBSTER ROLL -- I've had by far! Located in the Liberty Market Place food courts, a little spot for such BIG FLAVORS to serve you - with mayo flavors or Butter.. I got butter. The bread roll was toasted just perfectly, golden brown with a nice crunch to each bite. The lobster roll was completely stacked and packed in for the best bites you'll ever have in your life (hehe)..I personally just loved it. I'm a sucker for great seafood eats! And this is a 12/10 item from this place. Service was quick as I ordered pick up tho.. so I could enjoy the sunny day (that day) with my bf across the way with a nice walk and picnic with our food, watching planes depart from San Diego international airport (which is across the bay!) Location was still fairly noisy tho too, which is why we decided to take out.. as there was a bar near the shop and many other shops with limited seating nearby.. But MUST TRY the Lobster Roll!

It's simple...when I want a lobster roll, I go to Wicked Maine. When someone asks me for a lobster roll recommendation, I say Wicked Maine. To me, a great lobster roll is filled with meaty and buttery lobster on a warm and toasted bun. Wicked Maine just does it so well. For those that like it their rolls chilled with mayo, yes they do that here also. But the warm version is just the best.I used to go all the way to Poway Farmer's Market when Wicked Maine was just a food stall there. I was so happy to know they expanded here and then again in Little Italy so that there are more chances to hit this spot. They also serve an array of other good seafood options, including their lobster mac n cheese, New England clam chowder, lobster sliders, shrimp basket and fish n chips. In a sea of good options at Liberty Public Market, Wicked Maine still stands above some of the best!

Came by and meet new people. The service was wonderful, the girl behind the counter has filled up my drink to the rim! I have learn the gal next to me saw what I ordered and ordered herself one. Her's didn't have the pieces of lobster tails.I info her when I ordered mine. The counter gal ask me if I wanted "Here or To go?"I said, " Here."I got my tasty Taco with Lobster.Hers was the same except her lobsters were all shredded. And she ordered it "To go!"

A lobster lovers must try! I've tried their Main Lobster Roll (classic with butter or mayo) and their California Lobster Roll (with bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and garlic lemon.) Their lobster pieces taste very fresh and you get a pretty generous serving. This is probably the only place I've had QUALITY lobster outside of some high-end brazil and american steakhouses. If you're looking for some good lobster without the fancy steakhouse setting, this is the place! Their price matches their quality, each roll costing $29.99. They have a few locations, the one in Liberty Station is a super cute environment since it's within the market - allows for your non-lobster friends to grab other food options as well.I've also been to the Corondo location - very cute and on the counter of the street. There was a bit of a wait and limited seating. I'm not sure if it was the timing of when I went or if it's normally that busy (I went mid day on a Saturday).I won't return to the Coronado location - just too out of the way, long line, and nowhere to sit because it gets so busy. But the Liberty Station location is a perfect spot for a casual dinner or lunch with friends; you can walk around the market or sit on the outside patio - enjoy the live band on Summer weekends as well.

The fam got together at Liberty Station, and many of us opted for Wicked Maine Lobster due to craving some seafood. My husband and I definitely over ordered since we ordered three tacos including the lobster tacos and regular fish taco special, claim chowder in a garlic bread bowl, and French fries. I have to be honest, i haven't really experienced mediocre service in a while, but there was only one woman working, and it was obvious that she did not want to be there. She may have had a busy crowd, but she just seemed impatient and easily frustrated. Was handed a buzzer while waiting, which gives us a chance to explore during this time. Food was expensive, and lobster was pretty good but nothing spectacular. Fries were good, unique and plentiful, and clam chowder was tasty and filling.
