My first time here I thought it was a taco shop but it's actually a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Opens at 6 am. Free coffee but I didn't like it because it has sugar and cinnamon in it. Now, my meal. I had the rib eye steak. Kinda thin, for a ribeye. Tasted pretty good. Brought on a sizzling platter with vegetables, refried beans and salad. The salad was only lettuce and red cabbage. It also had cotija cheese on it. To me, dried cheese doesn't taste good on a salad. They make their own tortillas and salsa. Nice size dining area. They don't serve juice, which they should for breakfast. Just beer and soda. I love their huge menu. Last week I tried the menu do. Didn't have enough tripe in it but tasted good. This place is in a strip mall. Nice size parking lot. I'll be back to try other dishes.

I see why this place had high rating. I'm was in the area for work. This area has lots of options. I was intrigued by the good Reviews,plus I was feeling Mex Food. I pull up at the same time as another patron. We power walked race to the door of Yesenia's like we were competing for their last burrito. He won.
They always have great food here. I spent 19 years living in Tijuana Mexico, and one thing i like about this place is they have the grilled Serrano and jalapenos you can add to your food.Just like tj, so that's cool for me.Tortilla's ain't the same, but i don't think it's their fault, you can't get the same masa over on this side.Check it out, the food is good.

I've been to so many Mexican restaurants but Yesenia's is by far the best for me specially the Clairemont Mesa location they make homemade tortilla chips from scratch which are so addictive and they have a variety of homemade sauces too this place is my go to also for rolled tacos

It's disappointing that they open when they say they are. Although their signs and website say they open at 6:00 our last two trips, one at 6:00 and one at 7:00, found them closed. Very disappointing; we liked them when we were able to eat there before.

Pretty whatevers. I got the chile relleno burrito with carne asada and it was like 16 dollars...it was so soggy. The meat was not good. Where was the chile relleno? There was so much liquid that came out of it. I don't know. It was more like a caesar salad wrap from mcdonalds.

Ordered fixings for chicken and bean tacos for 20 for my son's birthday! It is his and his wife's go-to and I can see why. Food arrived on time, piping hot, along with Mexican rice, the best salsa I've ever had and a variety of sauces. Portions were huge-we had lots of left overs!
