Olives Neighborhood Market Bakery •
756 E Foothill Blvd, San Dimas

“This is the best Altadena ever. It's boujie but homey at the same time. Service always makes my day better. Daniela is always so sweet to my daughter when we stop by before or after school. You can literally park in front, grab what you need and get out. I buy milk, eggs, Brie bites, pizza to bake when I'm lazy for dinner, charcuterie snacks, gelato popsicles, homemade honey, homemade pastries, lemons, strawberries, and whatever random snacks catch my eye. They have events from time to time where food vendors host a pop up. This market is a great addition to the community. I love it here!“

Elite Gourmet Desserts Inc Bakery • $$$
949 N Cataract Ave STE I, San Dimas

“I love this place. I have used them several times. Each time their customer service has been perfect. The desserts are beautiful, taste great and look just as good after sitting out for 2 hours as they did when they were first put out. They have a large variety to choose from. Something for every occasion and something for no occasion at all. I have ordered them for small weddings, birthdays, holidays and even a backyard BBQ.“

Shamieh Bakery & Deli Mediterranean • $

“A friend told us about this place and we are very happy with their food and prices. The owner is kind and friendly. So far we have ordered cheese pies and sfiha and we liked them- you can feel/taste the filling and not just the bread/dough. Calling ahead is preferable. We recommend this bakery.“

Glendora Quiche Co Caterers •
210 W Arrow Hwy #A, San Dimas

“Bought a large Glendora Quiche Lorraine at Gelsons. Instead of following their directions to bake at 325 degrees, I baked at 375 degrees for 30 minutes - the best! Crisp flaky crust, tender egg custard. Not sure why they instruct to bake at 325 - having made quiches myself, that oven temp is too low. Hoping they re-open soon! Gelsons seems to be out of their large quiches, so i'm now scooping up a bunch of the single serving size to freeze! If you're reading your reviews, Glendora Q, consider changing your instructions to 375 degrees.“

San Dimas Cake & Ice Cream Bakery • $$
156 W Bonita Ave, San Dimas

“This cute bakery in downtown San Dimas had caught fire a few weeks ago. The opening was yesterday after the renovation, and it is simply adorable! They have some new items on the menu now they have outdoor seating and all the same friendly, helpful faces. They added a vegan option to the menu which is an Alaskan bake, it is delicious! If you haven't tried their sweet, tamales definitely a must! And if you're looking for a dessert to share with the family you need to try their giant cookie sandwich full of delicious ice cream in the middle. Stop bye and and treat yourself to a treat. You won't be dissatisfied.“

“Our coworkers have brought over a variety of cookies and I have tried soooo many flavors already and the best thing is it's by Target! The cookies are really filling that I eating one is too sweet for me but they have a cookie cutter that cuts it into 4 pieces and we all have a sample of each one. My favorite is the classic chocolate chip cookie and I can't wait to try more new (to me) flavors in the future.“

“Visited Porto’s Bakery for the first time when in West Covina (reside in Washington). We went on Easter morning expecting it to be super busy. To our luck it was busy, but no line! We got there at 10am and it was raining so we lucked out. They had several staff drying the floor and directing traffic to enserie everyone’s safety avoiding slips. They have an amazing system in place to get customers to the right counter. Everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. We tried the Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls, Refugiado, Chicken Empanada, Torrejas, breakfast croissants, Pork Tamales and a few other pastries along with lattes, guava lemonade & hot chocolate. We went all out! There was not one item that we bought that was bad or that we wouldn’t buy again. I was able to buy several items to bring back home. So we had a wonderful breakfast there and had several pastries and goodies to bring home.“
