Worst masa I have had ever. we wanted only 2 they sold in 6 LB bags so we said sure and since they didn't measure we went ahead but 8 lbs worth of basically salt. That's all we tasted was salt in the masa and they use way too much lard. Go to Carillos instead or LA Tolteca in Azusa.

The food is no longer the same, the Menudo was very chewy, like it wasn't very well cooked or very old. I don't know what happened to its process and it didn't have any flavor either and to prepare my breakfast, the super cold tortillas ??? I had to throw it away. The garbage or my money that I spent on my part I do not recommend it, this was my last time I go to that place
Well, today I had the most disappointing tamale of my life. After looking for this darn place for half an hour because I was going up and down the block so, I decided to call them and just check. To my surprise after I asked if they had changed the name and of course they said yes. Then I said to them, then why haven’t you changed it online because it still reads Talpense Tortilleria. It is now called Saborcitos. However, I do not recommend the tamales at all. They are so dry and without any flavor what so ever, plus the masa was so hard it was sad. Do not ever go there because the service is lousy the girl who helped me had an attitude on her, I thought maybe she’s working for free or donating her time. I will go to another place that I heard that they have marvelous tamales on San Fernando Mission Road. I will never buy anything from this place again. I do not recommend it at all, it was lucky that I gave them a one star. Can you believe I paid 28.00 for this garbage…I want my money back.Disillusioned because it was a great place some years ago…

Very slow service, we were sitting down and no one came to clean table, but two men showed up and sit and the waitress came and clean up their table first the ours probably cause the were males and we were female, til my friend said can you please take this dirty dishes and the waitress gave us attitude, we just left without buy anything bad bad service
