718 was formerly the Blind Pig, which took over the Cathay House . The bar and seating areas are exactly the same as when the blind pig opened. They're in the process of revamping the drink menu.Drinks:I tried the jalapeño margarita..very tasty, pretty strong drink!. They used mezcal which gave it the smokiness! The bartender made us to try two new bourbon drinks. They haven't named it yet. One was mixed well, not sure what else was in it, but it was topped off with a dehydrated passion fruit. Optically stunning..maybe a just a pinch sweeter and it would be bomb! The second drink was mixed with oolong tea and five spice.. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second!Food: we didn't eat but they served snacks: fried wontons, potstickers and fried spring rolls.Ambiance: great space!! Comfortable seating! We were a party of five and had the whole bar to ourselves the entire time we were there. Maybe it's an after dinner spot. The one bartender was great. He served strong drinks and was very attentive. This is my new hidden gem! I will be back to try the new menu soon!

Chic in the heart of Chinatown, great ambiance. Have a variety of specialty drinks created by the manager, Danny.Awesome venue to throw private parties!

They let my friend and I eat food inside which was the highlight of the venue. Elsewise, the owner was literally walking around staring at people and then getting emotional with them so that aspect was not my favorite. There are better places to drink for $15

Cool little spot! Great views of the city! The bartenders are so nice and can whip up drinks pretty fast! Company events are hosted here and it's fun to be right in the heart of china town.

718 has been recently transformed! They serve really delicious cocktails, the bartenders there are talented! It’s located in a central location, great for casual drinks and live music for dancing on any night of the week!

Great asian-inspired cocktails. Good vibes and our bartender was very friendly, and did a great job recommending drinks for us. Lots of interesting flavors pairings. We stopped by before dinner on a Saturday, and it wasn't too crowded.

Really great cocktails. Highly recommend the Hot and Sour.

Ohhhh the bad reviews are from Cathay House (RIP).That said, I didn’t even know going in — I had only heard great things — and the place exceeded even those expectations! The drinks are SO good, and unique/use Asian flavors in a wonderful way. We had the punch bowl (came in a legit old school punch bowl, with glasses), smoked umamis (my fave here!) and the hot and sour (really good!). Haven’t been wowed by such good drinks in awhile, and I am not infrequently getting cocktails. The decor is nice and the place is spacious. We arrived with a fairly large group at 8pm on a Friday once, and managed to get a comfy seating area in the middle. The staff was nice enough to produce plates and a knife for a birthday cake we brought, too.Great experience, great drinks, great space! Come here, but make sure there’s still enough room for me when I show up.Just one thing - this is definitely not a speakeasy per se; very visible outside with signage, but that’s ok, it’s easy to find.

Esthetically pleasing new spot in town with an intriguing cocktail list. Of course I put on my list to try and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the heartwarming service Mohammed provided as our talented bartender, to his flexibility and accommodation as we showed up 20 minutes before closing. Preparation of cocktails is fun to watch and presentation was fancy! We will return, probably on the weekend which we heard is more vibrant.

Blind pig is one of the best cocktail bars in the city. Didn’t get to try the food but the drinks are beautifully considered. Highly recommend the TO Gimlet and the hot sour. In a city with some of the best speakers and cocktail bars, this one stands apart.Ambience and all that are great too. I’m partial to 90s hip hop and this place constantly bumps to Biggie and Tupac love it

Excellent drink and a good vibe. Had the Greenland pig at the recommendation of the bartender

This place is a true gem. Our group stopped by to start our Saturday night, and they were able to accommodate our large party immediately. The service was top-notch, from the attentiveness to the drink turnaround times.
