Cool setting, went on a late night, so wasn't there long. Service is good, great watering hole for locals or ones looking for a new place to meet new people.

Delicious pizza, I read reviews indicating as such but was pleasantly surprised. The owner is very friendly so that made for a nice visit during a quieter time of day. They have a good variety of beers to choose from.

By far the best pizza I’ve had in this city. Also the beer was a frozen glass. Cold as ice and refreshing and so tasty as it is German beer!!.Top notch stuff

Providing an updated review since the Amsterdam moved across the street many years ago. Stopped in before a show at the GAMH...had a Pliny and a sausage. Wasn't expecting the most amazing sausage that I have ever sunk my teeth into but that's what I got. It was a chicken mango haberno I do believe with a pretzel bun, beautifully dressed and every bite was a joy. So good that I had another show to go to the next week and returned for another sausage...this time an italian sausage....same deal...so unbelievably good. Compliments to the chef (super nice guy)! In summary, get a sausage here...you won't regret it.

Amazing place. Great food, pizza, salad, sausage is out of this world/neighborhood. Feels more like a place for community to foster than a bar stricto sensu. Hat tip to Maya for taking the spirit of the place forward.

Weirdest bar I’ve ever walked into. My group of friends didn’t even finish our drinks because the owners friend was harassing us about what year we graduated high school for some reason. Felt like a fever dream.
