I love the potential and dislike this place. The atmosphere is beach, airy, bright, peaceful; an architectural gem. Weekends are unpleasant. This business has made the place less comfortable as a popular cafe and seems to attract rude customers.I have encountered less seating because it is replaced with more shelves for selling retail items. They have two tables by the ocean view window labeled tech free view that were occupied with customers parked for an afternoon with their laptops. A woman with her large dog seated at the indoor couch lunged and snapped at my young son’s face as we walked past. Are non service dogs allowed inside? What outdoor seating is available is in the shade and chilly. So many seats occupied with laptop users. Children’s little chairs by the coffee table but adults seated in them because of the lack of seating. If you come here when things are calmer, it has potential to be a nice visit. I brought visiting family here to experience a beautiful cafe with an ocean view but it was a dud.

Such a fun beach town coffee shop, with amazing coffee and matcha, the BEST homemade whipped cream (add it to your matcha, latte, mocha, etc., you won’t regret it), and delicious baked goods. Don’t count on their public restroom, though - line is always insanely long, given there is only one restroom and it’s a popular spot. Parking lot is great, but sometimes full, so you may have to park across the street by the water or in the surrounding neighborhood.

Okay, there's a secret corner seat that gets the most sun and it's as far as I know the only Cafe in the city where you can sit your drink and look out across the ocean with your partner~<3I need to get a photo next time DAMG, ALL I HAVE IS A PICTURE FROM THE PARKING LOT :'C

If you are clasping at straws because there is nowhere to sit and have a coffee then this place will do. Bring noise cancelling headphones.Ordered an espresso, asked for it to be served in ceramic (I got my wish). Sour coffee, even after asking for the not-sour recommendation.Overrated. Noisy. Uncomfortable. It could be better but I doubt it ever will be.Parking: We have been lucky to get parking in the adjacent parking lot both times we visited. But it looks like it could get busy and fill up.

Drink tasted good but workers are terrible. Rude, condescending and overall not very welcoming. Won't come back, no matter how good the Iced Match Latte (Sweetened) was.

The atmosphere is nice, there are plenty of seats, and the coffee is delicious. On days when the weather is nice, it's nice to buy coffee and drink it right on the beach in front.

Such a charming and cute coffee shop! Went midday on a Friday in March and wasn’t crowded at all. There was even a live keyboard player which was a nice touch.Parking: There is a parking lot right outside, with a Safeway across the street if it fills up.
Update: they’ve improved a lot at how many staff to have at peak hours and how to run the process, so max wait is usually about 15-20 min now, which is a lot better and more reasonable. Would give 5 stars if they got better pastries! The drinks are great, but the pastries are pretty awful. The employees are super nice and very competent and efficient, but they are really understaffed on weekends/line can be 30 min long just to place an order. It’s nice having them in the neighborhood now since we really have a lack of cafes here, but I’m hoping they improve with time. Would spend a lot more money there on weekdays if they even just improved the pastry game a bit. Something not overly sweet besides super dense scones would be nice

Great spot near the beach. Super cute with great views and good matcha. Staff was friendly.

Love it. Would love a hot food or breakfast sandwich option eventually!Lines are usually long and slow though and some doors are randomly locked for no clear reason.

their very well known for the quality coffees however the matcha drinks may be a little lacking, but love their unique plovers and homemade whipped cream!
