Gorgeous view, amazing wine list, perfect hospitality, contemporary and beautiful interior design and absolutely fantastic seafood. As soon as you walk in the door you know this will be an exceptional experience. So incredibly delicious!!!

Best and most delicious lunch deal (3 courses including a signature ice cream sundae) in the city. Located on the waterfront across from ferry building, Angler offers an unparalleled dining experience that seamlessly blends exquisite seafood, fresh and roast vegetables, whole chicken, and delectable steak. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Whether you're indulging in the tender and crispy roast chicken (like Peking duck style), savoring the flavors of the sea with their seafood specialties, or relishing the perfectly cooked steak, every bite is a journey of culinary delight. Angler truly stands out as the epitome of one of the finest dining experience in the city.

Two back-to-back fantastic dining experiences! Highly recommend trying the Let Us Cook For You option with wine progression if you really want to be treated. And hands down the best service in SF. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Our anniversary dinner was very disappointing. We were excited and had heard good things from friends, but it didn't meet our expectations. The service was not good. We felt like we were bothering the staff instead of being welcomed. Everything felt rushed and not friendly. Some of the food options were new to us, and instead of help, we felt like we were being criticized for not knowing about them.Overall, the evening was uncomfortable and not enjoyable. It's sad that what we thought would be a special night turned out to be a bad experience.

The food and service were impeccable. The soundtrack was awesome. The location -can't be beat. I highly suggest their Cook For Two Experience. You are treated like royalty and are right in front of the kitchen. A great idea for a special occasion. Our favorites were the tartare en gelee and the ice cream sundae with barbequed salt ! We had a minor issue with the bill which was addressed by their GM promptly and appropriately, which was much appreciated. Thanks for a memorable birthday dinner!

We had an afternoon off and we tried the quick lunch menu and it was delicious and we found it to be a good value for the food. We also tried two cocktails and an additional delicious crudo appetizer. The soft serve sundae was amazing and I can't wait to go back again. Beautiful restaurant.

The server did not mention gratuity was automatically charged, which was not good(we had only three people, that was not expected). So we unintentionally added extra 22% tip on top of the 20% already charged. Try to call the restaurant multiple times and no one ever picked up the phone. Very unprofessional!

What a wonderful, though pricey, lunch! We splurged and enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The caviar, Krug Champagne, oysters, and so forth paraded before us over the course of three hours. Of particular note is the fabulous wine list and the very helpful sommelier. We enjoyed a delicious Puligny-Montrachet, 2019.

The high price is worth while. I recommend the tasting menu. Definitely stop by the washroom for the bidet. The cocktails are interesting and worth a shot.

Great place with open fire for dinner or drinks. The happy hour is good though I wish the menu was a bit more comprehensive, it seems like over time they've limited the food items.

The food, amazing. I knew it would be. I forget how awesome the dining room can make the experience. There is so much bad service out there and the Angler team reminded me what hospitality is all about. Everyone we encountered had enthusiasm and lust for life. “Let's have fun”??? Dude, you are speaking my language! Also, can I end every meal with an ice cream sundae?!

Shush. Don't tell anyone, but I think Angler might have the edge on nearby San Francisco king of restaurants, Boulevard. Of course that just my opinion and I'm also being humorous when I say that. Wonderfully presented dishes from start to finish. We landed on a fabulous server who treated us very well throughout. Highly recommend a visit to Angler.
