Not bad, but not really great either. Kind of like an Asian theme’d Chipotle… but not nearly as delicious.

I love this place but why is the food sometimes cold when I order through UberEats? Not like it’s cooled down, but like it was pulled from a fridge and was purposefully chilled to be cold. I had to microwave. Usually great but every now and then this happens!

Food was pretty disappointing. Basically fast food Asian. Pork meat was very strange, sauce very bland and stewed egg had zero flavor. Tried to charge me $7 for a vita coco drink. Won’t be returning

Apologies , but not for me. Portion was so small compared to the picture on the menu. It did not fill me up: felt like I had an appetizer.

Very tasty. Ate there every day I was in San Francisco. It is over a year later and I still think about it sometimes but sadly I live oceans away.

Ridiculous. My receipt included a 6% hidden charge for “Operating Overhead” that I was not informed about.Asian Box *stole* money from me and almost certainly from others. No one at the store could explain it. They tried to get me to EMAIL some email address. Utterly ridiculous. And what the heck are “Operating Expenses” even supposed to be? What a scam.Edit in response to owner:No other restaurant has this for cost supply variations. Just put a new price over your menu prices like other restaurants to if you want to be honest. Your employees didn’t even know about the 6% sneaky fee and it wasn’t visible. All of this reflects terribly on how you are operating.

I used to really like the food here. Chicken and beef were cooked perfectly and portions were generous. But quality control has been declining. Ordered two chicken platters and had them delivered. On both orders, the chicken pieces were extremely burnt. Even then I could barely find any chicken pieces. Nothing like what I got in the past. I hope they can get it together.

I usually don't write reviews, but stopping by this place while traveling in San Francisco was very disappointing to say the least. The cashier had charged me twice on accident when I asked for a receipt. Unfortunately, the bank would not let me dispute my transaction to get a refund for either one of the charges the cashier had given. When receiving my food I was let down. The food is mediocre at best and reminds me of a basic meal prep with a 16 dollar charge. I don't intend on visiting this place again.

Asian box is a entry level Asian fusion establishment for those that are looking to explore Asian cuisine. They also have a full bar with beer on top. Their style of restaurant is very street vendor like. This is a great place to hang out with friends after work and have some delicious food

Delicious food while maybe not completely authentic Vietnamese tasting. I’m so grateful to have found this place as everything is Gluten free including the Banh Mi sandwich. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this

Asian Box Street Food Restaurant is a culinary gem that offers a delightful fusion of flavors. The star of the show, the BANH Mi sandwich, is a true masterpiece. The crusty baguette is filled with a harmonious blend of tender and flavorful meats, crisp pickled vegetables, and a medley of herbs and spices. Each bite is a burst of textures and tastes that dance on your palate. The sandwich is perfectly balanced, with the tanginess of the pickled vegetables complementing the richness of the meats. Asian Box Street Food Restaurant's BANH Mi sandwich is a must-try for any food lover seeking a delicious and satisfying meal.

I'd give the salmon salad a solid 3.5. There's spring mix, cabbage, bean sprouts, and pickled carrot and daikon. The salmon itself is very small but cooked well, and the caramelized shallots are absolutely delicious. It just feels kind of clunky -- like bahn mi veggies piled on lettuce and sprouts with a nugget of salmon?(They add an "operating overhead" fee, which just feels ambiguously shady.)

FOOD - I got the miss jones and it was fire, was basically a bun thit nuong cha gio. fish sauce carries ofc but the noodles were good and fresh and not starchy or old or stick together l. good amount of veggies and meat so it's not just rice noodles. the lemongrass pork was yummy, the meat was good not chewy not overcooked not overseasoned. a very good mealshrimp spring rolls - these were pretty good, also not too much rice noodle in it which I like and good amount of veggies and shrimp the shrimp is like crisp and juicy like 爽口.PRICE - I feel Ike they r very generous on giving u more stuff than just carbs so that it's a v good ratio
