Best Asian airport food I’ve ever had, the chef’s salad with the marinated chicken was outstanding (bun dac biet for my viet people) the chef salad had so much flavor and the vinaigrette was amazing.The shrimp spring rolls (really summer rolls aka Goi Cuon) was very good. I’ve had airport summer/spring rolls before and most times the meat was dried out but the shrimp was perfectly tender.The banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) was pretty good, the lemongrass pork was fantastic and tender and flavorful but the bread was really doughy it could’ve been a flatter or toasted bread.Lastly I wanted some broth so I asked for a small side of pho broth and the owner in the black hat and black shirt just gave me a full size cup for free and even asked if I wanted herbs in it. Spectacular service. 10/10 Asian food for airport standards — better than some restaurants

It tastes really good here. I treated myself to the Vietnamese Hot Chicken. The waiter asked a few times whether I could tolerate very spicy food. In the end it wasn't all that spicy, but delicious. I can recommend Asia Box here at SFO.

I ordered the build-my-own-bowl lunch box with chicken and peanut sauce. The food was kind of cold, and the flavor was acceptable. It’s a bit far from the hearty Vietnamese food I expected, but it’s a relatively okay option in the terminal G. The lunch box costed me $18ish.

This place is a complete disaster. Ordered a kids box with apple juice and they inform me after the order and food is eaten they don’t have apple juice, but they do have it right in the cooler. I point this out and the answer is “it’s the wrong apple juice. We will give you a banana instead”. Refuses to give me the apple juice for 5-10 minutes and finally says just to take it. Why even have it as an option on the menu for kids box if you aren’t actually providing it.
Received Singapore airlines voucher because lounge is closed. Was told that voucher is accepted here. Queued about 15 mins while rushing for flight and staff did not accept my voucher because they didn’t know how to handle it. Please educate your staff.

They have friendly employees working here—also, a pretty good selection for a location inside the airport. The iced Vietnamese coffee is okay. Not as strong as the Vietnamese restaurants. The kindness of the store manager was truly amazing - I was stuck at SFO overnight (having missed a midnight connecting flight and having to wait for a 6 am international flight). Asian Box was the only food vendor still with lights on, but it turned out the cash register was already turned off and no sale was possible. He nevertheless handed me a fruit cup, a pudding and a banana to help sustain me through the night - free of charge!
