The sign said they close at 8pm (we arrived at 6:55) but the door was locked and the woman working there (who was very rude and didn’t care) took no notice to us on purpose so we had to knock on the door. Finally, she looked up and opened the door. I asked if they were open and she said that they were closing earlier because of extra cone day the next day; I asked if they could make an exception because we were only two kids and it’s not like we were gonna take a long time. She then acted very rude and we decided to leave the store. They should give a notice and make better hires because the woman there was very rude.

Being from New England, it's amusing to me that this B&J location at Haight Ashbury is so prominently placed in the neighborhood. It's probably seen better days but it still suit my needs for amazing plant-based ice cream. You can buy this variety both in the freezer selection on the left, as well as some of the scoop selections. In the freezer, there is a wide selection of their almond, sunflower, and oat milk. However, the freezer section always look half empty and that's sort of the feeling you get being here. The staff have always been very friendly but the inside could use a bit of a face lift. But even though the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired the ice cream fortunately does not!

We love ice cream and we expected much better quality from Ben & Jerry's S ice cream, especially at this price. We often buy them in the store and they taste much better. Nice service, atmospheric surroundings.

Really good ice cream! The place can be super busy sometimes though with a line out the door. Also it ain't cheap but sometimes it's good to treat yourself and splurge a bit.

Ice cream is exactly like the cartons at the store. Shop was dirty. Service was okay. Price for 4 children’s scopes was $30! You’re better off buying the carton at the store and saving on parking and cost.
Little short guy, like 5'4 short, barely can see over the counter short.. working on 8/20/23 at 3:35pm, threaten to call the cops on me for asking for a refund on my milkshake.. HAHAHA This was absolutely comical. Milkshake had to much milk, it was all liquid. He asked what was wrong with it and I swirled the cup with milk in my hand, looked at him and I said, " do you know what a milk shake looks like? " .. Given the benefit of the doubt he worked at a ice cream shop I figured he'd know the simple consistency of a milk shake.. He immediately told me he would call the cops for trespassing.. LMAO..... uhh, who hurt you?? You work at an ice cream shop little bro... chill the F out.. if you are not happy with your life, go be sad and insignificant somewhere else. You don't have the competence to make a milk shake, Don't bring the customers down then threaten them when they ask for a refund. F if I'm paying $10 for a milkshake and getting a cup of milk , crazy if you think you can take advantage of customers like thatThis guy should be fired , he doesn't even deserve the minimum wage he's making. Pathetic piece of flesh wasting time and now ruining great American business with poor customer service. Sure as hell won't ever come back . A million other ice cream options. Last B&J for the road
