Just smashed a 10/10 hit roasted turkey & jack cheese sandwich with everythingbon the "dutch crust" roll - and it was too delicious to take a photo of, sorry. Excellent chip selection and drinks - great mix of preconceived sandwiches as well.

I know this is a highly rated sandwich shop but I’ve given this place multiple chances throughout the last year, and every single one of them, my sandwich has not come out right. I’ve asked questions on how the sandwich is regularly made, I’ve tried telling them specifically what I’m looking for and it comes out wrong, I’ve brought my sandwiches back up to the counter and kindly asked them to fix it and have been met with eye rolls and sighs, I’m really not a difficult customer and even though I’ve not been taken care of appropriately, I’ve never been rude or disrespectful. Last time I was there I watched the miscommunication happen between the cashier (who was on the phone while also taking my order) and the actual people making my sandwich. I heard them making the sandwich say, “as is” saying to make it regularly when I specifically asked for changes to the sandwich. It is beyond frustrating and I’ll probably never come back to this shop again. Too many failed attempts and I also tip EVERY TIME I order here and to be met with rudeness when I just want the sandwich I paid for to be done correctly is quite frankly, annoying.

Best sandwiches in SF, try the Ike Who on Dutch crunch! The staff are amazing, remembering our order even after a few years of not living in SF anymore. We miss them now that we've moved, but it's always on our itinerary when we're in the city.

Great sandwich place. The "Ike Who" sandwich on the sweet roll exceeded my expectations. Their semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie was great too.

Very good sandwiches. I don't know why they leave their seating area so cluttered though — makes it seem uninviting.
Went there with a client. We ordered a Reuben and a hot pastrami. The sandwiches were good. The problem was the service. It took 20 minutes to receive our order. Way too long. Cool little place. The guy at the register was friendly and efficient. The sandwich makers? Seemed stressed and it was chaotic in the sandwich making area. It wasn't that busy either. Maybe it was Doordash or phone orders that threw them off. That said, I would go back.

Sandwich is fine but not sure why they’re using their main seating area as a storage space. There’s boxes and old furniture piped up in the middle of the space. It’s been like this for a very long time. Years.

First time here. Food was okay, the owner was pretty rude at first. Would cut my gf off whenever she spoke, was disrespectful when we were ordering. Once got the food, she sat very close to us and made eye contact with us so many times while we were eating. Came up to my gf and I and asked if the food was okay after watching (literally) us eat for a couple minutes. She almost touched my face when asking this question. She would speak to other customers while they were trying to eat. Overall not a good dine-in experience.
