racist djs who requested songs from my white women friends but were freakishly hostile to our black woman friend when she asked for a song, disappointing for our friend group that comes to blondies all the time. even before that our friends were complaining about the djs all night, they were obviously insecure that their terrible mixes lost the crowd

Bouncers were shockingly homophobic. My boyfriend complimented someone and was mistaken as a predator and ejected from the bar. I guess gay people are not safe here!

Live music is cool. But they refused to let me in with my skateboard; first time an SF bar has told me that.*update:This happened Wednesday evening. ~9pm03/20/2024

Excellent atmosphere and one of the best bars in the city. Had 3 tortas buying me drinks. Made a torta sandwich later that night. Your results may vary but worth a shot. It's sf so ofc pay for a parking garage spot and avoid getting bipped.

Nice relaxing bar in the Mission District. Great drinks please try "The Blondie"! A lot of drink for what you pay. After 8pm it turns into a club! Great music. Bring cash because they don't take card.

This is the closest thing to a fun college bar that the Mission has. It consistently has people dancing to popular music on the weekends, and they also have live music on Thursdays. Their Instagram is great for keeping up with who's playing. The drinks are strong, although I wouldn't consider this a destination if that's mainly what you're looking for. If you're looking for a good time, though, this is a great spot. Just make sure to come early if it's the summer to beat the lines.

*** CASH ONLY!!!! *** Solid spot for a night out! Good music and bar. There was a $10 cover on a Friday night. A few security guards there when I went out and they had to break up a fight, glad they were there. There's a small stage for dancing and you can also vibe in a booth or on the level dance floor too. Additionally you can find a bar in the back! Hope you have a fun night out, just like me!

been coming here for years from 2 hours away and have always loved the drinks but sadly will not return. five of us in our group all in our 40's and 50's salt and pepper beards and all were rudely asked to leave by the bartender because one person in our party did not have id on him. he simply could of said sorry cant serve you buy was really condesending and rude about it.

One of my coworkers suggested this spot and he is possibly the best bartender in west LA. This is a dive bar by every definition of the word. I was taken care of by a friendly lady who was carrying the bar. Named Margarita When I ordered their cocktail I was shocked by a $21 price tag however unlike a bar in Hollywood where $21 gives you a very watered down whack drink I got 4 times what I would have got in Hollywood. This place is also cash. 10/10 5/5

Great cocktails in the heart of Mission. Lots of selection on martinis and large portions. Go for happy hour. There's also music on most nights.

extremely rule dj who does not accepts song requests; the only time i've been antagonized by a dj ;( i recommend going to beauty bar or monroe's or kells's instead!

Love this bar but the security guard made me never want to come back. He kicked me out because my friend danced on the couch I literally did nothing. I asked him why and he went on a sexualized power trip and said it was because I disrespected him. I asked what I did and he couldn't name anything.

i came here on a friday night and encountered an extremely rude security guard who bullied me and my partner when we asked if song requests are accepted; the only time i've been antagonized by a security guard - he had us stand while he lectured us for 10 minutes :( the drinks are not worth having this experience! i recommend going elsewhere!

Blondies Valencia Street transported us to a world of rhythm and flavor on a Wednesday night! The live salsa band turned the evening into a dance-filled extravaganza. Huge props to Edu, the maestro behind the bar, who wowed us with a red fancy cocktail - a surprise that tasted as good as it looked! Dancing under the vibrant lights, surrounded by the lively tunes, and sipping on Edu's masterpiece - it was a symphony of fun and flavor! Blondies Valencia Street, you've earned your spot as a must-visit in San Francisco. Kudos for turning a regular Wednesday into a fiesta! #BlondiesMagic #SalsaNightJoy
