The Cambodian Dirt wings may have been the best wings I have ever had! The staff could not be nicer and the food was just as good as the service! Highly recommend anyone stopping by if this place is still open or reopens.

The wings were extremely delicious!!! The seasoning was fantastic. And the sauces!!! ::chef's kiss:: The service was wonderful and friendly. I wish we were local to come here more often.

Wife and I were in town for a weekend trip and we needed a quick snack after we landed. Found this place on a whim and we're so glad- their chicken wings are some of the best we've ever had. The cook left the chicken nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We got the "Cambodian Dirt" and "Jalapeño Dirt" dry rubs and they were both excellent. The owners/chefs we also super nice and had great personalities. Would recommend 100%.

Best fried chicken wings I have ever tasted! Super crispy on the outside and super tender on the inside. The lovely couple who runs the place are so sweet as well. Can't wait to go back.

I love chicken wings, but the ones here were super dry, which might be our fault for getting the Cambodian Dirt. We got 16 wings at $18 with large fries at $5. The plus is that they're not super greasy, but I didn't exactly feel satisfied after eating these.

Delicious food and friendly service from a “mom and pop” establishment here in the city, yes please!!The chicken wings were super fresh and crispy. The water Buffalo sauce is great as is the sweet and spicy garlic. My friend raved about the lemon pepper wings.I would definitely come back to try the other flavors, looking forward to the habanero flavor!

Very kind folks at this establishment -- so happy I payed them a visit! Wings were great; packed with flavor and the perfect size. I particularly enjoyed the Cambodian Dirt but the other flavors I sampled were just as good! Will be coming back the next time I'm in town.

This is the best Chicken Wing spot in the Financial district hands down. Hawk and Sophie are a dynamic duo and really put their hearts and souls into the restaurant. All the flavors are amazing but the old reliables are definitely the Cambodian Dirt, Sweet Chili Garlic, and the Orange Habanero. Great for catering especially for office parties once the city opens back up. Will definitely come back with more friends and family!

Finally stopped in to pick up lunch and I was not disappointed! The dry noodles were delicious, meat tender and flavorful, noodles nicely seasoned, broth comforting! Chicken wings were freshly fried and crispy. I did the Cambodian dirt wings and it has the right amount of salt and acid.

Straight up the best wings spot I've ever been to. Highly recommend the Spicy Cambodian Dirt wings w/ a side of SPOILER ALERT: Incredible waffles on the way to the menu soon. They taste like the deep-fried coating of some type of amazing street food. Kinda funnel cake-esque flavorwise, but with a delicious crunch. Not your average chicken&waffles.

What can I say...great to find a spot and support the local business owners. Chicken, Rice and Egg all in one mouth full of delicious goodness. Love the lemon grass! Their name says it all...pronounced ( slop-mun ) aka chicken wings in Khmer. If you're in the area and craving some really savory wings that are really crispy as well. Give them a visit! My boss was in town from SoCal and he took us there today...best decision ever. I will be back with the fam bam, gotta show my Cambodian Love.

I reserve 5 stars for all around excellence including physical amenities. But Shlap Muan excels in so many other aspects that I must award it 5 stars despite the small premises. How did Shlap Muan know to anticipate Oxford's confirmation linking red meat to colorectal cancer? So pork is not "the other white meat" despite what the Pork Council claimed? Now I'm eating chicken, chicken and chicken. Fortunately, the wings served at Shlap Muan are diverse and unusually good. They are not batter-crusty as US Southern Fried. Instead they are lightly coated and thoroughly infused with whichever flavor the customer orders. The flavors are distinctive and all are worth trying. The owners treat customers as friends and remember names of regulars. They make good recommendations based on knowing the customers' ordering history. A surprise delight is the refreshing side of salad. I appreciate that Shlap Muan has stayed open to serve the tiny population in the vicinity of Crocker Galleria. May it prosper.
