Solid airport spot for a quick bite that isn't super greasy. They've got some good options for bowls and sandwiches as well as drinks and a few mochi treats. I got the rice bowl with lemongrass pork, a Vietnamese coffee, and a guava cheesecake mochi donut. Everything was pretty good for airport food and very filling. The airport wasn't busy but they prepared everything rather quickly. The veggies seemed fresh which is very important.

Overpriced, tasteless, poor service. I get it, you're at the airport about to catch a flight and see a banh mi spot and you think, what a great easy-to-carry easy-to-eat sandwich for your journey. But for $15 and it's not even good? Disappointment ensues. I had the Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi, Combo Banh Mi, and Taro Boba. Nothing was good. Save your money and calories and go elsewhere.

I tried the classic combo banh mi and I do not recommend it at all. The bread was not normal banh mi bread though it looks like it from afar. It appears to be made with a low grade flour, lacking in gluten which results in a crumbly, cake-like texture that is unexpected and disappointing. It's toasted and very dry. The filling combination was also not great. Too much pork and somewhat lacking in vegetables. A bit too salty and not quite sweet enough. I would steer clear of all sandwiches here.

Absolutely disgusting food. Their meat is old and their soup smells awful. I think they are using products which have expired to cook

Have not tried the food yet but already disappointed. Horrible service. I have to repeat my order five times. I even have to repeat it after I got the receipt which have the correct item I want on there. I ordered a classic combo and got asked five times if I want combo or lemongrass pork? Which is included in combo. Ridiculous price. 17$ for the cheapest sandwich. Also charged me bag fee without asking me and just tossed my sandwich(cut open) on the counter. I asked for a bag and give me a horrible paper bag without handle. And the grabbed a nice paper bag with handle to another customer? I am now thinking it could be a racial act. Then I asked for the nice bag. She looked at me and asked you want it? And then I confirmed. Then she finally grabbed the nice bag for me and ask my bag back. Then tossed the napkins that I placed in the original bag on the counter again. I have to pick it up and take it in my hand. She then put my sandwich in the nice bag and then tossed it on the counter again. I just can not take it anymore. This service is just the worst one I ever had. Food contamination might happen and just horrible service in conclusion.

The garlic fries are wonderful, and the seven spice chicken sandwich is just about perfect.

Flew from Fargo, ND and I was craving for Pho. The one I had on my layover at City Pho at Denver International Airport didn’t fix my crave. Thankfully, I saw Bun Mee when I arrived in SFO. Rightfully so it didn’t disappoint. Even ordered pate on the side of my chicken pho. The Filipina servers were great and friendly too!

Overall satisfied with my visit. You order at the counter and sit somewhere in the food court. The ordering process was a little confusing - I stood at the counter for a while being ignored before a staff member finally told me I had to order on the little screen. I saw other people who placed orders orally so not sure why I couldn't do that but NBD, self service is fine with me. It just would be nice if it was a little clearer that that's what's expected. I ordered the tofu banh mi and it was decent. The tofu itself was marinated and flavorful. It was sliced pretty thick though which made the sandwich a little difficult to eat. As far as veggies it was mostly shredded carrot and cilantro. I would have preferred more of a mix. The bread itself was perfect - nice and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. As far as value for what you pay, I think this is a decent option at SFO. It's a little overpriced but so is literally everything, and you get a pretty flavorful and satisfying meal.

Just not great. The bread is so dry it just powders, the five spice chicken tastes odd and the homemade bone broth may have gone bad (?!?!) - it smells odd and tastes off…I’m am so unimpressed. Couldn’t refund me for soup which I returned - it was an awkward hassle so I just bailed but legit NEVER stopping in here

Rude worker that insisted they were closed 30 min before the posted time

I can tell you that there's a big quality difference between the Bun Mee in the Harvey Milk Terminal (Southwest) and Terminal 3 (United Domestic). The Terminal 3 location tastes much better! Of all the food court options, Bun Mee had the longest line. But they moved quickly and food was ready almost immediately. I ordered a noodle bowl. There was vermicelli at the base and it was topped with cucumber, carrots, jalapeños, eggroll and your protein choice. I went with the lemon grass tofu and liked the crisp on the tofu. The taste wasn't bad for airport food. If I were rating this against your typical Vietnamese restaurant, I'd go with a 3 star, but for airport food, a solid 4.

This rating is for the Iced Vietnamese Cream Cloud coffee. I had a layover at SFO airport, and needed a coffee to wake me up. This was DELICIOUS - not too bitter, and great for my sweet tooth.
