Such a tasty treat! We went for dinner and had the Samusa, Tea Leaf Salad, and some veggies. Everything was so delicious. The server was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Definitely will go back. It’s also affordable.

If Google says 'permanently closed' then Google is poetically wrong on this one. They've been having an issue with GoogleMaps saying that and it's apparently impacting their business. So, if you see that, just give them a call to confirm. We did, and I'm so happy for it.This place is great. You have to try the Tea Leaf Salad. My friend ordered it for us, I never would have thought to try it but it was amazing. So was the goat curry. Great stuff.

This is a solid place for take out. I order from here at least once a month! The crispy chicken and garlic noodles are my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I like to call in and place my order directly with them. The service is fast and the portions are huge! If you like spicy food, ask for their chili sauce but be warned - it is a kicker! Only try it if you have a high spice tolerance.

Tasty food and good service. Very vegan friendly and we enjoyed the tea leaf salad and samusa soup.

Yummy Thai food with tofu! Pad Thai comes with a bunch of veggies. The waiter was very passionate! There are many take out orders.

DINE IN FOOD: pretty tasty. My only qualms with the food was the lettuce for the wraps were like 2 inches wide. So you couldn't really fit any food on them. But those and the samosa were delicious, as was the entrees. SERVICE: Pretty lacking. I think there was one table leaving as we came in, then no one else, son not busy at all. Took forever to take our order. Then they start putting away the tables from outside and stacking all the chairs. I figured it's 8:10 so they must be closing at 8:30, no problem. Then I checked and they don't close until 9. So that was awkward. Plus they left the front door open while putting everything away and it was freezing. Never once came back to fill our waters and we had to interrupt their phone watching to get the bill. Not going back for dine in. AMBIENCE: Pretty clean and simple inside. Slightly stark but pleasant enough.

I thought garlic noodles would be more or less the same but this place really surprised me. The this dish felt less "heavy" and seemed light by comparison to other carb loaded dishes. I had the garlic noodles with tofu and it was tasty. The flavor was surprisingly unique and I felt the garlic flavor wasn't ok overbearing. This may or may not be what people want depending on how much garlic someone likes in their noodles. Service is great as the servers were really kind and helpful. I would definite come back if I'm in the area!

We got it delivered so we can't speak to the atmosphere. The food was fresh and good quality. Overall I felt I would definitely try more items on the menu before making a final judgment. We got tea leaf salad and fiery tofu stir fry. Both felt good to eat but ultimately lacked some excitement in spices. The coconut rice was pretty good too easy to eat plain which is a good thing. My takeaway would be that it gets the job done but doesn't compete with some of the other Burmese food locally. It's worth a try to see if it hits the spot for you!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options and plenty of gluten free options.

This place is truly delicious, best burmese in the city. Better than Burma superstar or mandalay. The Burmese curry and the tea leaf salad are top. So happy to have this place and everyone is so kind! Soooo delicious I will be coming non stop! Great portions, quality, everything!

Wanted to try some Burmese food. Found this place on yelp and decided to try it out. The food was delicious and super fresh, the atmosphere was relaxed and casual and the service was excellent. Highly recommend you try the fiery beef and vegetables as well as the samosas.

The tea leaf salad is packed so nicely! Nan gyi dok is as well but I had already mixed it in my previous picture since I was eager to dig in. They always prepare the food super fast too! I'm pretty picky about Burmese food so I'm very happy that this restaurant is in the neighborhood!

I actually like this place much more than the Burma Love/Superstar/Teakwood places, as it seems more small business oriented and the prices are more reasonable for the portions. The platha was my favorite, along with the coconut chicken curry noodle soup! The 3 of us shared 2 entrees and a side and it was enough food :)

Food: 4/5Service: 5/5Decided to try this spot out for lunch today. I ordered the Garlic Noodles with Tofu and my coworker ordered the Lemon Grass Chicken (medium spice) with Brown Rice. I thought the noodles was pretty good, but the garlic flavor wasn't as strong as I'd like. My coworker thought her chicken was good but the rice was dry. Overall, we thought the food was decent and will come back for lunch takeout again.

I ordered the tea leaf salad and the lemongrass tofu to go.From the menu, the lemongrass tofu dish should have: "Tofu, with chili, garlic, soy sauce, broccoli, cabbage, okra, snap peas, red bell pepper, lemongrass and basil." When I arrived home, I found it was missing the cabbage, okra, and broccoli. That was a little disappointing. See my photo to see only tofu, red bell pepper, and snap peas. I asked for the dish to be spicy and the lemongrass flavor was light - it tasted more like a spicy basil. The dish also had a layer of grease on it. The tea leaf salad was tasty and they offer cabbage, lettuce, or half half. The amount of tea leaf dressing was great! I'd come back for the salad.
