I have to admit that the escargot were pretty good. Service was great but the ambiance just didn’t do it for me.

Didn't realized it was different building. I was looking forward to having the cassoulet! And the pomme Frits. No more cassoulet and the pomme Frits changed! I was sad! The menu was now Spanish and French which was ok! It's Cafe Bastille... should have kept it French

We went on Valentine's Day but we went very early, 4:30 pm. We loved the French onion soup, the Moules et Frites and the Cafe Bastille salad. Good wine selection, full bar. The service was excellent partly because we were early but they had plenty of servers waiting for the crowd that was booked to arrive.

We've held our book club meetings many times at Cafe Bastille and they are always very accommodating in giving us a great table with the option to add seats in case more people attend than anticipated! The food is always amazing.

It was a last minute NYE reservation. We arrive around 8:20pm and were seated within 5 minutes. Special NYE menu with both French and Tapas. We went with Tapas and Paella B44. All were great food. The service was nice considering busy NYE. Will be back again!

Bastille is a hangout for lots of French expats with simple but excellent food. The wine list has something for everyone. Their croque-monsieur an absolute favorite!

I'm a long-term customer of Café Bastille. I've been going there for years and arranged my law firm's Christmas parties there. The staff are just dreamy as is the food. I was there yesterday for my birthday and they made my day really special. Shout out to Renaux and Sabina!!

There are so many tasty things on the menu, it was hard to decide what to have. My wife chose the beet salad and coq au vin, I chose the tortilla and rabbit paella. All were excellent as were the wines we paired our course with. Service was good as well. I would not hesitate to go aback.

A gem in the FiDi! Great for date night, business meetings. Service was superb and food was great. They combined the Spanish and French restaurants there in the area—didn't miss a beat. Both menus have excellent selections.

It's nice now that the two restaurants have merged - we had a tapa from one side of the menu and entre items from the other side. The wait staff was cheery and very accomodating

Service was good. The waiter was friendly and attentive. My husband and I each got the steak. The steak seemed poor quality for the price. I had a hard time cutting my meat. I asked for med rare so maybe that's my fault but it seemed almost raw in places. The fries tasted like frozen fries you could bake at home. On a positive note we had a couple of glasses of wine that we enjoyed. I haven't tasted anything else off the menu but I probably won't be back.

We had a wonderful lunch. The fun part is being able to order French food or Spanish food which was a real treat. The mussels were absolutely cooked perfectly The Spanish torta. The ambience could not have been better. One of my favorite places.

One of the better SFRW options when this special week rolls around. Been going to such restaurant weeks when it was Dine About Town. Love everything they offer on the menu. There's something for everyone. When you're craving escargots and remarkable French fare with great service, dine here. Unique spot in SF, don't want to spill your date nights. Find out for yourselves. 'Til next time ~ cheers and see you on Yelp (YELP)!

I give the salmon sandwich two thumbs up! The salmon was fresh and cooked perfectly for me - not overcooked, dry or hard. The others had the Nicoise salad and they loved it. Def would recommend Cafe Bastille for a lunch!
