Over priced. Mediocre quality & slow service. Manager is rude. Try across the street for better.

A fun little dim sum spot in the heart of SF Chinatown. Food is incredibly fresh, made in the front kitchen for all to see. We had a highly responsive server and ordered a decent spread of food from dumplings to seafood to noodles. I really like the Crispy shrimp rice noodles roll and the shrimp dumpling. The beef chow fun was somewhat dry. It was very tasty and filling.

Family liked shrimp dumpling and lunch special Lobster Yee Mein. The only inconvenience is the menu which is difficult to know the ingredient and portion size!

First time trying this restaurant. BE CAREFUL, they charge you for water, $1.75 per person and automatic tips of 15% on your receipt/bill when there were only 2 of us!! The food was cold when served. The fish and chives rice roll, we ordered didn't have chives. When we asked them, the manager said they ran out of chives. But shouldn't they tell us before we order that they don't have all the ingredients. The House Pan-Fried noodles were cold and tasteless when served. The chef either forgot to add salt or the restaurant doesn't have a good chef. I would NOT RECOMMEND this place, Cafe Broadway!!

First time here. Just wanted to try out the wanton noodle. Yes, soup tasted good, HK style. Noodle just nice, not too soft. Wanton a little too small. But they gave about 8 of it in my bowl. Staff nice. Price consider reasonable given the raised since after Covid.

The food is very authentic. We always buy Peking duck and it never disappoints us. I just wished they sell beer again. Otherwise the service is great and fast, portions are huge.

To be fair, overall the quality and taste of foods are not bad at all. I tried their dinner and dim sum these two weeks, so far okay ??‍♀️ Better than my expectations - not too salty, no thick gravy, no whole bunch of soy sauce, oysters sauce, black bean sauce or sweet & sour sauce…?. Service is average as usual (genuine service in Chinatown)⭐️Dim sum highlights: steamed spare ribs?, baked bbq pork bun, ?steamed chicken feet, and deep fried taro?Their stirred fried dishes never get disappointed.I usually don’t go to have any dim sum or Chinese dishes in Chinatown, as most of the foods are in poor quality or “foreigners’ taste”. Hope this restaurant can keep going? Keep the quality?

We stayed in Chinatown and were right across the street from Cafe Broadway. Our family members from Iloilo, they recommended that we come here because it was very convenient when coming from the Royal Pacific hotel and it was pretty good food. They were very accurate with the description of the food and service. We were plumb tired (a southern figure of speech meaning completely exhausted) by the time we checked in and we just crossed the street and walked right in. We just wanted a dim sum snack and we got some veggie egg rolls, which were crispy and piping hot. The leeks with peanuts dumplings were a good size. The tofu was a little bit of a meh for me but you can't win them all. Now, this is when is became very delightful, they brought over some chilled Coconut bunnies, the gelatin was so good. I should have bought some because these bunnies were complimentary and fun to eat. I'll have to come back have some more of their dim sum items and those coconut bunnies.

I was running to meet some friends for a North Beach art event and I popped in for a quick dinner. Sadly it wasn't real quick but the food was absolutely worth it. Service was kinda slow but there was only one host and one cook so I'm not gonna rag on that too much. Oh, they were also out of one thing I wanted so I had to deviate from my original plan.I got Shrimp Har Gow and Sticky Rice, perfect for a filling meal before hanging out with the gang. It was delicious.Defo coming back again.
