Gabby did a wonderful job making cake for our wedding. When we first met up, we were able to try small samples of cake, which all were pretty tasty but we ended up going with a vanilla cake with cream cheese filling and strawberry and passionfruit flavour. She was super fun to talk to and was able to easily make a sketch to turn our vague cake ideas into something tangible. She was also able to add a dozen vegan cupcakes for our vegan guests. Everything turned out amazing! My only regret is that I wasn't really able to have some of the cake on my wedding day. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to eating the cake saved for our 1st anniversary! If you're looking for a baker for your wedding in the Bay Area, look no further.

The best. We got our wedding cake here and have gotten every cake from here since. Whether it's a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, or gender reveal, the cake comes from here. The baker here, Gabby, is incredibly talented, friendly, and creative. I used to have zero interests in cakes. My wife used to handle all of our cakes for events. But for our wedding I wanted to be involved. We were shopping for cakes for our wedding and that was finally a time I wanted to have a say on our cake. The baker had us over for a cake testing and every single piece we tried was delicious. We knew then we had found our cake. AND THEN we started talking about the design and things got even more exciting. This is when I became invested. We looked at pictures of cakes she had done in the past and they were all inspiring. We went with the raspberry chocolate cake and I still think of it today. Safe to say our cake was one of the stars of our wedding. I believe she took care of delivering our cake to the venue as well. 5 months after our wedding it was my birthday and I wanted something special. My wife knows I love Jordan sneakers so she surprised me with a cake in the shape of an Air Jordan 1 in the traditional white/black/red color!! It was the coolest cake I've ever seen. Everyone was talking about it. Design: she can do anything! Taste: we've had the raspberry chocolate cake every single time. It's unique. It's yummy. I reached out to Cake Coquette to make a very small wedding cake for my City Hall wedding. I'm from from out of town so I didn't get the chance to try and flavors or check them out beforehand but everything was great! Gabrielle was very responsive via email. We ordered the vanilla buttermilk cake with cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries & raspberry jam and it was really good! They cake delivered our cake to our dinner reception so it was already there by the time we came by for dinner. :)

Though it was a tough decision in the first place deciding which vendor to use for our wedding cake, what we really liked about Gabby was 1) the flavors, and 2) her creativity: with some sample photos & a description that we came with, she sketched her version of what she would make live while we waited. The pricing was reasonable, and she was fast with responses to the few questions we posed in the intervening months between contract & wedding day... And then when she delivered the cake on our wedding day, it was absolutely perfect! We were impressed, many of our guests commented on it as well, and it tasted exactly as we wanted. Our only regret was that somehow in the chaos of the evening, it didn't get communicated to the caterer that we wanted to keep some to take home, as our only taste of it that night was during the cake cutting ceremony. I guess we'll have to engage her again for an anniversary cake!

I would highly recommend doing a tasting box so you can try all of her innovative flavors. We ended up going with the buttermilk vanilla cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese, and the devil's food chocolate cake & ganache with raspberry filling -- both were excellent!

honestly it was not my happiness with the result: 5 stars in design and presentation, but 3 stars in flavor and texture of bread. let me down*** with very high level of the sugar. the bread very heavy and far from the flavor offered. and the price did not meet expectations.

I reached out to Gabby (2.5 weeks before my mother-in-law's birthday celebration) to order a cake. Gabby was super accommodating and answered all of my questions. I chose a citrus buttermilk cake with citrus cream filling and lemon curd. I told her that my mother-in-law loves jade and pearl jewelry along with what type of flowers she likes. Gabby was able to incorporate the pale mint green theme/jade along with adding my mother-in-law's favorite flowers into the cake design. She created this most beautiful mint green/jade marbling in the fondant and added specks of edible gold flakes. She even delivered the cake to the restaurant before the scheduled dinner and had them refrigerate it until the party began. My mother-in-law absolutely loved how beautiful her cake was and loved how it taste! I can't thank Gabby enough for such a beautiful cake!
