By far one of the worst restaurants in SF, both from its food and ambiance. It’s mind baffling that anyone would go here, why? The food quality is one of the lowest that I have had in SF (go check out: Napizza).Outside of the food & ambiance being a 0/10, their hospitality & approach with those dining there is 0/10. Do not waste your time - Spend your time elsewhere.

This was a fabulous Italian restaurant in the marina! Unfortunately, you can't make a reservation before hand so you need to queue on the yelp waitlist. However, if you're flexible the wait time is not too bad. We were a party of 3 looking for seating on a Saturday around 8 and waited about 30 mins. Besides this, the restaurant is adorable with beautiful dish wear and cute decor. We got some white wine for the table which was delicious and the waiter was great with recommendations. I ordered the bolognese which was so flavorful and the pasta was perfectly cooked. However, I do wish there was an option for more cheese on the pasta. We finished our meal with complimentary lemon gelatos which were very refreshing. Highly recommend Casado Osteria for your next date night or dinner with friends!

Made plans to go here for dinner & they were closed for a private party without any notice on their website. We drove across the city which was a bummer, bad business practice.

Lunch on a Tuesday was nice with not much crowd. The bolognese was huge serving and I ate it all. The cauliflower was big serving for 1 no complaints there - I ate it too . Service was good I moved from inside to outside due to nice day!

This was my third time at Casaro Osteria and it hits every time. We got the buffalo margarita pizza with prosciutto and the ragù and the Zinfandel. Everything was absolutely delicious, as usual. The service is great, although they don't take reservations so there is typically a wait during busy times. We waited 45 minutes for a table for 2 on Saturday night. There are tons of great bars on Union St to grab a drink while you're waiting for your table. Ambiance is also amazing! I want to steal the plates every time I'm there lol

Pretty good. One of the better vongoles I've had. The sauce was well emulsified and had good cling. The caesar salad was also particularly good and the dressing really tasted made to order.

what makes a great space not so great, going with two white-haired seniors, one disabled, and being put at the very very last indoor table, right before their patio area (closed on rainy night, obv) and next to stacked boxes/end of hall, on a very rainy weeknight with not that many patrons.perhaps host/staff aren't in touch with ageism but should be something to certainly consider, as not everyone in cow hollow is under 30 and good looking. food is good, but plenty other options to get good food AND service.

Take your friends from out of town here!! Food is excellent, great variety of foods to satisfy everyone's cravings. Vibe inside is great, filled with great music and people's conversations. Outside also carries the great vibe. I've been a few times and most times wait staff is attentive, been once when it wasn't nearly as busy and it was obvious the waiter kept forgetting about us. Kind of annoying but it happens. Will definitely go back.

Finally made it to this lovely osteria in SF and was delighted to find another great place for Italian food. Plus they open til 11pm on Saturdays! Tried the grilled cauliflower, funghi & salsiccia pizza and the pappardelle pasta with mushrooms. All delicious! Beautiful decor and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

Good and bad. Pizza is above average, Papparadelle Bolognese very good, rest American Italian, good by American standards, average by Italian standards. But who cares, millennials will eat anything as long as they are on a date with their IPhones.

I really enjoyed my experience at Casaro Osteria! Everything I ate was a 10/10 and we had great service. My party of four waited around a hour at 6p on Friday and were seated towards the back. We ordered mussels, burrata with a prosciutto add on, two pizzas and a tiramisu. Everything was delicious and the perfect amount of food to share (especially with a bottle of wine!). Our waitress also brought by a complimentary lime gelato that was a great palate cleanser and awesome way to end the night. The only snaffu was that the Yelp waitlist wasn't as accurate. Despite checking in on time we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Would love if they could open reservations because this would be such a great place to celebrate special occasions!
