Tried this spot before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I love the great mood and delicious dishes and beverages. Keep it up.

One of my preferred places to eat. very good location, always clean, and very good service. 5 stars!

They try hard, but it's what you'd expect from SF BBQ.Ribs slathered in some "rub/sauce" that's then baked into the ribs in a "pit" that's too hot and lacks smoke. They might as well grill it.Oh, and their Mac and Cheese is KRAFT straight out of the box!

I always felt that you good folks at CatHead's had the best BBQ in San Francisco. I loved everything that you made and you were always cool cats. I wish you luck in whatever the future brings, and know that you will be missed.

Great bbq. Nice guys too. Try the habenero sauce, you might even need some to go.

Great spot for good Bay Area BBQ. Beef brisket by the pound was the way to go. We will be back !

Yummy food! Especially liked the habanero slaw and the cathead biscuits. Hope that are back in business soon.

Simple, great bbq at a good value. One of the best biscuits I've ever had, with an amazing jam. I've seen people comment on the portion sizes, but I think it's actually a great value. I got the pork shoulder (flavorful, tender) and a side of habanero slaw and potato salad. Came with a small biscuit even though I also ordered a CatHead biscuit. Also came with a lemonade. My wife tried the pulled chicken which was also super flavorful. Bonus- the brown sugar cookie was perfect. People there were also pleasant and helpful. I look forward to going there again when we're able to eat inside.

Lip smacking BBQ!!! Ribs fell right off the bone. Great price for the amount of food.

Solid brisket and sweet tea chicken. Ribs are good if you like the saucy style - they retain a bit of chew. Ironically, the namesake cathead biscuits are pretty disappointingly dry (although the honey butter and pepper jelly that accompany it are good)

To preface, I'm a nurse that works on night shift. We had planned on having a potluck for Fourth of July, but plans fell through. I decided to do some calling on 7/4 and as expected, many places needed at least 24 hours of prep for an order of 40 people. CatHead's popped up on yelp and I gave them a try! I talked to Richard, one of the owners along with his wife Pamela, and they were able to take on this last minute, massive order. We got the Coca Cola Brisket, which was the most raved about at work that night covered with your bbq sauce! The sweet tea chicken was right after that. The biscuits were also to die for and the potato salad and mac n cheese complimented the meal super well! We also got the makers mark Portobello mushrooms as our vegan option and those did not disappoint either! Thanks so much for your hard work to make this happen Richard and Pamela! I will definitely be making my way back to CatHead's to try out the rest of your menu!

Food was very good and well worth the wait and price. I loved the calamari and crab cakes and the huge portion of New England Clam Chowder was a winner with my boyfriend.By no means does the 4 stars indicate anything bad. I always reserve that 5th star. Thanks for making my meal in San Diego delicious, on time and jist what we needed!

The BBQ was EXCELLENT and they made an outdoor area to eat and drink outside. I'm definitely going back!
