We came here as a couple following a recommendation from a friend. Food was really good, I would say it's a quick bite restaurant rather than a "dining out" experience. But we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, our server was really helpful with the menu and making recommendations - we had the egg rolls, signature garlic noodles and fried chicken.

In short, this place is perfect! Excellent service, exquisite food, amazing atmosphere!

Reservations are a must and they require credit card to hold. Then will only hold your table for 5 minutes so don’t be late ! The food was very good. The waiter said it was family sized portions but I disagree. It was definitely single serving sizes. Wine list was minimal but we managed. Ordered spicy garlic noodles, fire cracker wings and sticky ribs. Spot has inside booths and outside tables.

**WARNING: CHANGED NAME & RECIPES!** Now called Barrio Chino and it is the worst. Garlic noodles - their signature dish used to be thick, round, flavorful noodles. It was so delicious and the main reason I ordered. Now they're flat, tasteless, and you get half as much (which I guess is fine, because you won't want to eat them). WHY WOULD YOU RUIN YOUR SIGNATURE DISH?? Chubby noodle is literally in your name! I want to cry. Mongolian beef - again, you get half as much. The beef is not as flavorful, but of all the dishes, this one at least still vaguely resembles the original. This used to be my favorite dish, but now it's much less flavorful. Potstickers - these used to be more thin-wrapper style, and pretty good. Now they're giant, flabby, thick and bland. And you only get 3, instead of the 5 or 6 you used to get. Crispy sesame beef - I think this is a new menu item. It basically tastes burnt. There were only like 7 sesame seeds in the whole dish. Chicken & broccoli - again, a new menu item. It is so bland. The chicken tastes like it was grilled and then put in the sauce, not marinated in it. Chicken fried rice - this is an abomination. Seriously. The rice was overcooked, bland, and just WRONG. It is an insult to both Mexican rice and traditional Chinese fried rice. *Make it stop* I used to love this place and order from it all the time. I am so deeply sad that they ruined it. I paid a lot of money for stuff I'm mostly gonna throw away.

Wtf happened? I'm so confused. We literally order this almost weekly. The garlic noodles completely changed (no flavor, no garlic, flat noodles??) and the chicken was not even close to enough for two people. I'm so disappointed in the changes they've made. Why fix something that's not broken? I guess we'll be ordering from the North Beach location from now on.

This place was great!!! Love the outdoor seating. Everything we ordered tasty amazing, some items were a little spicier then I like, but the flavor was so good, I couldn't stop eating it!! The green beans were my favorite, I could have eaten the whole order myself!! Will be back as soon as we are back in the city again!!

I had high expectation. I ordered the garlic noodle with fried chicken first the noodle were very chubby not in a good way, over cook and the protein portion were so tiny! Def not going to come back again.

Garlic noodles are fantastic even when they're not fresh. I got them in a pickup order and probably didn't eat them until 45 minutes after they were prepared, but they were still mouthwateringly good. Chubby Noodle is a must-try!

Excellent food for reasonable prices, reasonably trendy style with a generally young clientele. Fast friendly service. Unfortunately no name outside makes it difficult to find.

I have seen this restaurant on Yelp quite a few times and finally decided to try it out. I know that requesting to have certain ingredients to be withheld from an item is not cool. Usually unless stated, it's something most restaurants can accommodate. My Husband and I ordered the vegetarian egg rolls, delicious. chubby fried chicken, buttermilk marinade, creamy sambal sauce, WITH NO ONIONS OF ANY KIND. I had the spicy garlic noodles, egg noodles, charred garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, also WITH NO ONIONS OF ANY KIND. We also ordered the szechuan green beans, wok tossed, garlic, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. NO ONIONS FOR THOSE AS WELL. When we opened our containers, starving and ready to dive in, it looked like the cooks used green onions (that are not mentioned anywhere as an ingredient in the description's on menu), as a flavor component instead of a GARNISH on the chicken and garlic noodles. There were even a few in the green beans but I am guessing they were there by accident because I could pick them out, 1,2,3, gone. A garnish is an embellishment that should be used sparingly to let the diner know what flavors to expect in the dish. It should never overwhelm or look like a drive by herb bomb . There were so many green onions in my garlic noodles I just couldn't pick them out. The chicken looked great but smelled like a scallion. We were so upset. We were starving! When I called to explain what happened, Rosa, took a minute to figure out what happened and then she made it right. She took responsibility for not writing everything down. At first she told me to call Crysel, possibly the owner? I asked for her to have Crysel call me instead. Rosa followed through, things were handled. Rosa is a true professional. I received a call in the morning from Crysel and the refund was processed. We went back yesterday, we had no issues. Food was delicious. Rosa was a delight. One star off for their HELP WANTED sign. Trying to recruit by promising great trips and full benefits. Tips are something extra, something I truly believe in. But the reliance of restaurants expecting customers to pay their employees wages is ridiculous. Gotta say I was disappointed to see that they hire by promising tips.

Ordered online and our order was ready early which was great! Really easy pick up process, but the entrance is a little hidden (looks like an alley, but opens up to the restaurant once you walk down a bit). I got the orange chicken and a side of rice. The Chi el was so tender and had a great flavor! Reheated well for lunch the next day since the portion was quite large. My boyfriend got the chow mein and loved it as well! He also had leftovers which shows how much food they give because he usually clears out both our plates lol If you're craving good Chinese from the comfort of your home or for a picnic, this is the place to go!

Enjoy those garlic noodles with fried chicken, sure tasted fresh and impregnated with garlic! Also orange chicken for some sweet. It's down a walking alley so you may not find it unless you are walking - worth it !

Ordered delivery two nights ago and wasn't impressed. The chicken chow mein had good flavor and a slight spice, which I appreciated, but the chicken didn't taste like much. When I saw the mongolian beef, I had my doubts based on the appearance and how thin the sauce was. The beef looked a bit fatty, so I wasn't sure it would taste that great but it was better than expected. It wasn't spicy at all, which was disappointing. For a dish that's almost $20, I'd expect more: a better presentation visually, bolder flavors, and a slightly fuller dish (like a few more onion slices for starters). The food was okay, but not memorable and not worth the price to me personally. An underwhelming dinner experience all around.

Stars are based on food not the card machine Food was delicious! We had the garlic noodles, they were amazing!!!!!! Seriously, buy the garlic noodles, they are to die for! But maybe it's just my hormones right now I'm definitely eating salty foods We tried using cash but they are only accepting cash if it's exact change otherwise use a debit card, can't tap, card needs to be swiped.. and it you're like me it annoys you that someone else has to be touching your card (COVID era). Did I mention we were about to leave without our meal? The machine didn't want to read our card

Went here after craving Chinese food. Ordered chow mein, rice and orange chicken. Everything we ordered was so good. The staff was awesome and it was made super fast. Would definitely go there again when we come back to visit. Would recommend!!
