Food and service was great. I will definitely be making this place a regular spot. A little loud but what do you expect with a busy restaurant. 10/10

We had the pan-seared scallops and the Tagletelle special dish: tagletelle, snap pea segments, mushrooms, smoked prosciutto and a light cream sauce. And the Tiramisu for dessert. All were superb! And the service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at Collina - everything from the ambiance to the service and the food. We ordered the focaccia, arancini and tuna crudo to start then the lasagnette (my favorite), gnocchi, and spaghettini. It was all so good and we left so full. Can't wait to come back to this gem.

Always a pleasure to eat here! I brought a friend and we shared three pastas and a salad and delicious wine. It's the quintessential San Francisco small ,local dining experience.

This could have been the best food I have eaten in months. Their temporary card with seasonal products is absolutely sublime. The raviolo con uovo and it’s subtle taste of truffle simply was out of this world. It was also matched by the perfect service: super friendly and efficient host and waitresses. An absolute gem of San Francisco.

We had a very nice meal last night. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Very much a neighborhood place, it seems. I had the gnocchi with kale - seemed like a strange combo, but it was excellent. It had a quite rich cream sauce that really worked with the kale. We also had the chicken dish - nicely done. Simple, unadorned, and very good. The olive oil cake was good, as well. We moved back to SF after being gone for many years. We have been having problems finding local restaurants with good food that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It has been frustrating trying to find places that are on par with the east coast city we came from (not NYC) in terms of quality, innovation, and value. Collina fits the bill!! We definitively be back. And I definitely recommend. The other places have been hit or miss on quality, or even subpar, regardless of price. We had an antipasto, two entrees, 2 glasses of wine, and one dessert, it came to $145 before tip. Certainly a little more than the equivalent food back east, but I know the cost of doing business here is higher.

We had a work dinner for 8 people here last night and had a set menu. The menu itself was a adorable and even gave a nice welcome to our group. Everything was served family style and my colleague who chose the menu did a great job of finding things that appealed to all of us (including picky me). We did have a few dietary restrictions at the table and the restaurant was good about offering alternatives. In fact, we were quite jealous of the mushroom gnocchi that one of our colleagues received since she is allergic to tomatoes and couldn't eat the pasta the rest of us were eating. As for what the rest of us ate: - Arancini: SO good! We each got 1, which was a bummer because I could have eaten 5 of these - Little Gem Salad: nothing special, but appreciate the opportunity to get my veggies in - Spaghettini: Delish - Pan Seared Scallops: cooked to perfection and the forbidden black rice on the side complimented it well - Tiramisu: Always a favorite and this one didn't disappoint The portions weren't very big so we got the opportunity to try everything, but didn't leave too stuffed like I usually do when it comes to these dinners. They kept the wine flowing. I felt myself wondering how much wine I actually had by the end because everytime I finished a glass I'd look up to find my glass full. It was also in a great location and we enjoyed the hilly 15 min walk back to the Fairmont Hotel after.

We are big fans of Seven Hills and were excited to try their sister restaurant. Collina more than lived up to the billing and in fact was better than Seven Hills. The food was amazing and was also cleaner. Most amazing combo of flavorful Italian food that was also clean. The service was great. A new staple for us.

A solid dining experience. It’s set in the former seven hills space (their sister restaurant!). Super cozy and quaint - I absolutely love these kind of restaurants that make you feel like a local. Service was friendly and casual.Their menu is simple with about 3-5 items per category (appetizer, pasta, entrees) that are the greatest hits from the seven hills days. Between two people, we got the little gems, uovo (their signature egg yolk ravioli), gnocchi, lasagnette, and a bottle of aglianico. We walked away stuffed. For a normal dinner, we could have probably done with one less pasta and added a dessert instead. However, now that I’ve had the pasta it would be difficult to choose which I’d leave off.Would highly recommend for a date night or a catchup with close friends.

Solid restaurant with good food. The raviolo was my favorite dish that we ordered. Service was good with new plates for each dish.

The food was ok, based on reviews I expected something a lot more impressive. Kinda disappointing as this was my only night dining in San Francisco and there are so many amazing restaurants. Had the chicken and gnocchi entrees.

Fantastic restaurant. Reminds me a little of Delfina when it first opened. Everything was very good. The space is a little quirky, but in a good way. Reminds you of a classic SF apartment.

We got terrible seating; two tables pushed together in the back back corner that were not the same and were uneven. Would have asked to be moved, but every other table was full. Next, it was then very disappointing to see that the scallops were NOT on the menu as listed when I checked the online menu same day as reservation. Arancini, Olives and Focaccia were on point. Spaghettini was nice; Raviolo was fair but a bit rich; was not a fan of the Lasagnette.
