Live in Oakland and will drive to fisherman's wharf just for their shrimp sandwich! Have been going since I was a kid and always get the calamari and a shrimp sandwich. Service is super fast and portions are great.
Was walking around with my wife and son near Fisherman's Wharf and stumbled on The Crab Station. I live in the bay area but don't get a chance to come to the city very often so I was determined to have a cup of clam chowder and a Lobster Roll. I thought the the $10 cup of clam chowder was excellent (5/5). It wasn't too salty and was nice and hot. Since I was eating outside and it was around 50 degrees, it was nice to have some warm soup.
