I’ve walked by Cracked and Battered many times but finally met a friend there for brunch today. The food was fine and so was the atmosphere, but the drag was that we had to read the menu and order using our phones. I know this method of service was born from the pandemic, but I dislike it for several reasons. First, it’s discriminatory because it assumes everyone has a smart phone. Second, it’s isolating because rather than talking to your companions, you’re forced to be on your phone. Third, you have to rely on the menu’s description of your choices rather than getting to ask a server, which brings me to my fourth complaint. One of the nice things about going out to eat is getting to interact with someone you don’t typically know, your server. I have to use my phone all the time, which is useful, but isn’t the same as engaging with an actual living, physically present human being.Luckily I made a mistake on my order and was able to talk with a very nice server, who I was excited to tip. Please bring the humans back.

Amazing halal brunch spot!! Loved the fried chicken eggs Benedict. The service was friendly, although they seemed to rush us out once we were done eating as the place was really busy. I would recommend a reservation

Haven't had a bad breakfast here ever over the years. The waffles are perfectly prepared and fried chicken is crispy.

Visited this amazing Halal breakfast place not so long ago. I ran towards it the moment I heard about it. Ignore the QR code cliche of the reviewers the attendants are very helpful in taking the order esp if you have a disability. Ppl with disability must try this place - the owner Muhammad was very cordial and helpful. I tried their fried chicken Benedict - it was Dee-li-cious!! I also ordered their black tea and coffee there is room for a-lot of improvement there. Over all I loved it . The collection of the music was also nice . I wish we have more halal places in town. I will be going back more often ti try the rest of the menu.:)Ps: A special thanks to my lady server. She served me with a lot of care , took me to the rest-room and even laid the toilet paper for me. Who does that these days .❤️

This place was super busy. Got chicken and waffles it tasted good but the waffle was on the softer side. The orange and carrot juice was fresh.

I went here for my birthday breakfast and absolutely loved it. The owners were really friendly and the food was amazing. We got pancakes, chicken and waffles, an eggs benedict, and some orange juice. Everything was delicious. The chicken was really well seasoned and the waffles were incredibly fluffy. We even bought a t-shirt, which is a testament to how good the experience was. 10/10 highly recommend

Everything was tasty. Just wish they had more regular egg dishes not accompanied by fried chicken & waffle. Staff was super friendly; a +. Kinda noisy. Outdoor tables could have heaters. Coffee could also be better. Good value though.
Wait staff are overly invested in insisting you order via online menu for dine-in. Lemon ricotta pancakes are bland for the price, compared to the Plow down the street. I don't think I'll be coming here again.

Amazing brunch spot, the best chicken and waffles and eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend everyone to check it out! The seating is limited so be prepared for a wait a little bit for a table, esp on the weekend, but it’s worth the wait. The owner was also very friendly and nice.
Went in for brunch. Got the chicken and waffles with an extra piece of chicken. The chicken was juicy and was well-spiced. The waffle itself was good. However, it was lacking in toppings. They only gave 4 strawberry slices, a small dollop of cream, and a miniscule amount of syrup. It also wasn't maple syrup (which I would have preferred). The restaurant was quite noisy, and the music selection didn't really help the atmosphere. In addition, the utensils felt cheap and flimsy.
