Such a cute little dessert shop in outer sunset. I got the mango bento cake for a friends birthday and it was so pretty. I liked the tiramisu and hazelnut praline cake, light and not overly sweet. And they so many other cute desserts. Make sure to check it out!

They have really eye pleasing desserts and they are so uniquely made. My favorites are earl gray boba cake and golden crumble Nutella cake. Usually when dessert is too unique it may not end up tasting good but they are delicious. Not overly sweet and savory. I've consistently ordered them and brought it to dinners and that cake consistently ends up being everyone's favorite. I highly recommend their desserts!

The desserts are really good, I liked the Earl grey molten cake the most. The drink wasn't too sweet so it was a good balance. They got out everything pretty quickly. My partner called last minute and they accommodated us to with a last minute order so I appreciated that very much: My father in law fell in love with the molten tiramisu cake so we got that for his birthday! Every cake is very unique and delicious. I also bought a cup from them and it was suppppper cute! The candles they have for purchase are the cutest things ever. This is definitely my go to cake shop from day one of trying it.

I have used Yelp consistently since I was a teenager, but I have never written a review until now. I placed a last minute order for my moms 60th birthday cake with daydream cake shop through Uber eats, (already a VERY risky decision!) and left a note mentioning the occasion in hopes the bakery would be able to make it happen. they truly went above and beyond my expectations with this cake, and as a family who has been buying the same exact cake from the same bakery for almost 15 years, it was SUCH a relief to know that trying somewhere new for a celebration as special as 60 was more than worth the risk! FLAVOR: birthday cakes tend to be very sweet and far too sugary for my families taste. we always end up tossing the cake that we buy after the four of us have had a slice, because it is more of a celebration moment than a craving cake moment. we are not sweet tooths at all. the flavor profile of this cake was so beautiful, light, fluffy, and rich all at the same time. it was truly the perfect balance of light and sweet. between the four of us and some coffee, we finished the entire cake together in one sitting without feeling overwhelmed or left out. although the cake may seem airy or frail in photos, this cake is very sturdy and plentiful. and VERY well worth the price. we all agreed after we finished this cake- we would rather pay $50 for a smaller beautiful cake baked with love and good ingredients that gets eaten, over a $50 cake that gets left in the fridge to rot after everyone has had one slice. Daydream cake shop you are my new go to bakery for celebrations and everything in between. Thank you for making this special!

(Overall: 85% | B) - Overall there are some pretty and interesting desserts and drinks at this shop. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cute (but no bathroom). I found the menu items to be presentation forward with the actual taste a bit lagging behind.(Strawberry Lava Mousse: 80% | B) - This rose is very pretty, but unfortunately misses the mark as it is essentially 90% mousse and 10% cake with some strawberry jam in the middle. While it looks good and is conceptually interesting, it does not taste very good and is missing substance.(Guava Berry Fruity Sparkling: 92% | A) - This drink is essentially a homemade soda with some fresh fruit. I found it to be a good balance of flavors and quite tasty.(Sparkling Fruit Punch: 80% | B) - Unlike the sparking fruity, I found this drink to be a little unbalanced in flavor -- particularly, the raspberry overpowers the rest of the drink. It looks good and is refreshing otherwise.IG: @amei.eats

Quick Summary:- There are some tables and chairs inside- Adorable looking cakesThis cafe has been on my radar for months, and I finally got to try it there. The food experience soared over my expectations. Inside the pink cafe, it is a quaint cafe with 3-4 chairs lined up along the walls. We were fortunate to get a seat and relax while eating our desserts because when we were finishing up, a crowd of customers flocked in one after another. Some arrived to pick up their orders and some claimed the seats, filling them all up.We ordered two drinks and a dessert on the first visit: the daydream, the snowy cloud, and the honey citron tea. The weather was on a cooler side, but we took a walk around the neighborhood, so this drink was perfect to cool us down. I have to admin, I was slightly wary of how intense the color was in their drinks and their desserts. From past experiences of my childhood, candy with intensely bright colors like this one didn't have the best flavors. Those skeptical thoughts were flown out the window after I took a sip of the drink. First, it was absolutely refreshing! This drink had yakult, too. I was alsos impressed with how soft and gentle the slushy was. We were sipping it but we never got brain freeze. This ice was also very easy to eat with a spoon too. None of the bites had a crunchy ice texture, it was fluffy soft.In addition of the cloud, it reminded me of cheese foam in some of the tea drinks. It blended well with the slushy.Another surprise was the snowy cloud (I decided to order this one over the other drinks because it looked like the perfect aesthetic match with the Daydreaming drink). Behind the display case, it looked like it was a mousse or a crème bavaroise. After seeing in on the table and tapped a fork against it, it was neither because it bounced. The flavor is a mix of yogurt and lychee with lychee fruit pieces hidden in the center. This was also very refreshing and healed our fatigue from the walk. The honey citron drink was served hot, and to my surprise this had the sweetest note out of the dishes we ordered. This cafe has so many surprises! Expectations are broken and a positive surprise is revealed. On a final note, the staff were very thoughtful as we took our time choosing our orders and peeked out from the counter from time to time to ask how we were doing. Definitely a "let's come back here again" to try the other adorable looking dishes and drinks.

just found out this place is same owner as Diamond Coffee N Pastry which I frequent to for coffee and pastry. wow! Two talented power couple! Anyways, I ordered the 6" Earl grey cream cake. Easy order over the phone and once they get your cell phone, they text payment link to you. Super easy and fast check out. I ordered the cake one day ahead. There are so cakes which requires 3 days ahead so make sure to read that details. Cake availability is on their website. the young lady who took my phone order is the same person who helped me when I went to pick up the cake. She was super nice and sweet. I got enticed by all the cuteness so I got 3 of the mini cakes as gifts to my birthday friend also. I ate the cake later that night after the dinner celebration in a restaurant and let me tell you, the Earl grey cream cake was still so soft and moist and it has been in my fridge since noon. you can taste the subtle taste of the Earl Grey and MOST importantly to us Asians, the cake wasn't too sweet. That is the ultimate compliment! Both my friends said it was one of the best cake they had in a long time. I didn't get to try the mini cakes but now I am even more anticipating my next chance at going back. I also got the iced white grape tea. it was huge. I appreciate the size. Can't wait to try other cakes. Need more birthdays to celebrate Oh, they spelled my friend's name wrong on the cake but she didn't care. She was very happy receiving such a delicious cake

Got the chocolate mixed fruit cake. Very soft and spongey light weight cake. Eating this cake doesn't fill you up the way other heavy cream ones. The fruits were quite refreshing and went well with the cake. The 6 inch is perfect for a group of 6. Service was quick and polite.

Super cute! This place is tiny So if you happen to go out of busy time, don't expect to necessarily have somewhere to sit.The cake that we got looked tiny but was way heavier than expected and filling. They welcomed my puppy which was great!

This is a new boba place in SF. They don’t have a lot of options in their menu, but you can ask to make your own boba drink. The owner was very nice and helped you modify your drink with her best recommendation. The only negative thing is this shop is too small and doesn’t have a lot of seatings.

I've ordered two cakes from here the first time was the Earl Grey chestnut Molten cake, and the second time was the Mango Soft cheese. In terms of presentation their cakes are amazing. The cakes also taste as good as they look. The service is also really quick and easy. Both times I called in, and paid via phone. Pick up was quick and easy.I will be ordering from here again for sure.

Pretty! They pay attention to details. Every piece of cake is an average of $9 drinks $6.5 some sweets taste better than others, for example the chocolate pyramid was good, but the yuzu cheesecake taste a little bit like perfume. The chocolate molten cake was the regular japanese chocolate cake with mousse on top.The place is pretty and small, they only have three tables with 2 chairs each, staff was super friendly and fast with the service. I would like to go back to try other things.
