I wonder why this place got good ratings. I just had the worst sandwich ever. It was toasted but only the bread was overly burnt and crunchy on the outside, not in a good way. The inside was super cold, tasted like frozen lettuce. I don't like to leave bad reviews, maybe their bbq is good or something. The guy offered us money back. People are nice there, we just didn't enjoy the sandwich.

Always has a great selection of snacks and drinks. The store is clean and organized. Plus the owner is always very kind. Order the vig--it won't disappoint

Rolled the dice and today Deli Man was the winner. I’m not mad at the choice it was a hefty sandwhich made well. Service was awesome, I walked in scatter brained and my guy was patient and helpful. I wanted to try the tri tip but unfortunately is unavailable at the moment but will hopefully return soon(get well buddy). So after a long hard look at the menu with a little bit of disappointment I decided to get a Turkey Bacon and Avacado with everything on it on a soft roll and a side of banana pudding. The sandwhich was good size loaded with turkey and bacon. The way it was put together was a perfect stack. 8/10The Banana Pudding was also a hit, not to sweet and a pretty big serving. 8.5/10Parking: Parking is not impossible but it is a task. I circled the block a few times. Double parking could work just watch the carKid-friendliness: Pre made sandwiches and a good snack sectionWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

The best sandwiches! And a lovely man who runs it. It just feels very local and friendly.

Mmm mmm mmm. These fellas use whatever they've had on the BBQ that day for their sandwiches, and it is GLORIOUS. I could get a sandwich anywhere else for the same price and get mediocre meat that was sliced a week ago and cooked a week before that, but here, this man looked me in the eye and asked if I want the teriyaki chicken he just cooked, pulling it up in his tongs as he said it. The chicken was still dripping juice! Then he cut up a whole piece for me, no mishmash of whatever's left in the factory, he cut me up a recognizable, beautifully charred, bone-in chicken thigh and put it on my sandwich. The service is prompt as possible and always friendly, the order is accurate, and the food is DELICIOUS. They even try to get me through the line ASAP when I show up at the same time as the wave from the local school. I will absolutely wade through a horde of 12-year-olds for a sandwich like this, and you should too.

Owner/Make Sandwiches perfect. He is always upbeat. If I am feeling down and walk into his shop, I begin to feel better conversating with the owner. I usually don't post anything but I felt the need to post about his business establishment. This is the now-later lady.into his shop I feel better . NNQ is crazy good.

Best BBQ I’ve had in the city, sweet store inside with cool snacks, desserts ( I got fresh made banana pudding), and bevs too. Really nice guys working there as well. Highly recommend getting a bbq plate (they usually do three meats a day, as all good BBQs do they will run out of brisket eventually so try to get there earlier than later), great sides too like Mac and cheese, potato salads, etc.

Some people may say that the Deli Man has the best sandwiches in San Francisco. However, this is not entirely accurate, for the Deli Man in fact has the best sandwiches in all of California.Good food, good vibes, good man!

Had their BBQ for the first time and damn! The chicken had a nice rich smoke flavor down to the bone! The meal came with a hot link and sides of mac and veggies which were basic and tasty. I'd much rather have basic yummy sides than a poor attempt at something fancy (like a couple places up the street) - they were perfect compliments to the meat and you have an option of spaghetti too! Friendly guys and the best lunch I've had in awhile. Highly recommend!

I order their grilled meals. Last order was teriyaki chicken over rice (rice unavailable). The rice was replaced with their macaroni and cheese, which was very creamy delicious and I enjoyed trying! The teriyaki chicken was delicious! I'll be ordering in the future, most definitely! Always, Ms Beasley.
