No event at Chase Center that day, so it was pretty quiet. I've eaten at their other location (and ordered from them a shocking number of times) and it's as good as ever. They make literally zero things I don't like-- it's all so good! Great with a big group, they have a ton of group seating and then you can order EVERYTHING. Drinks are great too (try the Faerie Fire if you like spicy). A+!

Some great food, and excellent service. Not very busy when we went, but I imagine during a basketball game it could get pretty busy. I think we would have preferred a Chinatown experience over this, it was a little too modern and the basketball games all around let us know that basketball is the main focus of this area, not the food.

Love Dumpling Time. This day they were under staffed with only two servers and what seemed like a single support staff member. We got there at 11:45 and service was fine, but by 12:30 they were overwhelmed and we were kind of forgotten. After ordering a few items at noon we weren't able to order the rest of our lunch for another 25 minutes. When we asked for a fork for our non chop stick user, we were told, “you need to wait” and never brought one. Overall, food was still amazing but not ideal experience. Luckily we weren't in a rush and could afford to wait out the big lunch rush. I would avoid from 12-1 if you have a quick lunch.

Great place to eat when it's off peak hours. Great food, reasonably priced, and good clean atmosphere.

This place is soooo good! They sat us right near the end of lunch even though they were about to close. Everyone was so nice. The food was terrific! Shrimp toast is delicious. Spring rolls, crispy garlic green beans, shrimp and pork dumplings, and sesame balls that are smaller than but just as tasty as Golden Gate Bakery.

Went here with a couple of friends on a Friday evening and it was mostly empty inside. It's a little loud inside because of the games being played but the tables are spread out far enough that you can still have a conversation. The service was fairly prompt and the food came out right away (literally maybe 2 minutes after we ordered the first dish came out).We ordered a quite a bit of food:Chili pork dumplings: 4/5, good dumplings in terms of filling but would appreciate more spice for the chili topping/sauce since it was mostly just oily.XLB: 4/5, pretty good with a thin skin but wish the broth inside was a little more flavorful.Beijing noodles: 5/5, my favorite dish of the night. The pork was very flavorful and the noodles had a good chewy texture. Plenty to go around!American Wagyu Fried Rice: 2/5, the meat was rather dry and the rice didn't have a lot of flavor. Not sure if it's worth the higher price tag.Seafood Gyoza: 5/5, very large pieces of shrimp inside and love the crispy lattice on them.Pu'er tea: 5/5, very nice earthy flavor and they kept refilling the pot throughout the night.Overall, fairly decent food, though a bit expensive. Not sure I would come here without a coupon.

Great location in Thrive City Chase Center San Francisco! Tough to get a reservation during Warriors games and concerts. Went here on MLK Day evening 2024 and enjoyed not dealing with a crowd. Har Gow and Shumai were fine but I've had better. Spent $100 for 4 cost conscious people. Okay to good food, great location! 4 stars!

I have visited this Dumpling Time restaurant on Jan. 1, 2024. This is my 4th visits to this restaurant within about a week. That shows how much I love this restaurant. The inside use simple yet very unique decoration makes this place looks classic and comfortable. The food tasted so good, all natural not greasy, no MSG. The services are super friendly and fast. Today the manager is Ben. Ben helped to adjust the menu in order to fit my friend's strict vegetarian need. The string beans are tasting so fresh and so good even without any sauce. That's why I love to bring various friends to enjoy this unique dining experience.Vegetarian options: The restaurant will adjust its menu according to customer needs.Kid-friendliness: Because they are boiled or fried dumplings, young children can eat them with their hands, allowing children to enjoy delicious food.

A very high 4! Had very high hopes for Dumpling Time because I love trying new dimsum places and I felt like these were one of those mainstream, must-try places. My bf and I got the Tom Yum XLB, Chicken Gyoza, Garlicky Green Beans, American Wagyu Fried Rice. We DEVOURED our meal. Perfect amount of food for us two (or maybe we were just hungry lol) Overall, the food was good, came out fast. But i think theyre a little expensive compared to other places with less selection. $4.50 for a diet coke :-( I really recommend the Tom Yum XLB and fried rice though!!!! Service was good also. Pro tip: park at the UCSF parking garage across the street, $5 for an hr!

It’s Dumpling Time! You must try their Soup Dumplings. Six miniature soups individually wrapped in one serving. Their Beijing Noodles are delicious. Sweet Bao for dessert is definitely a plus.
