I love their food! However, female waitresses are not friendly. 3:30pm/04/11/2024; switching staffs. She turned on her tv Spanish channel. I asked for a box to go. Her body language, she has attitude when she gave the container and a bag. I just came from doctor appointment, I am in abdominal pain. I wanted to eat hot soup, I ordered the black beans. I moved to counter to pay. She placed the receipt on table and moved away without friendly facial/eye contact. Seems young kids are lack of greeting customer services. I rather tip the cook, they seem more friendly. I only tip who are friendly with a smiles.

Upon entering, the first green flag was the bustling crowd for a Tuesday lunch, a sure sign of good food ahead. After eyeing everyone's plates, I settled on the carne asada. It was undeniably delicious, but the portion for takeout didn't match the generous serving size for dine-in, which was a bit disappointing. Despite finishing my meal quickly, I found myself still hungry. Thankfully, I also ordered a chicken tamale, bursting with flavor, albeit different from what I'm accustomed to - more reminiscent of Nicaraguan tamales than Mexican ones. Overall, I intend to return, opting to dine in for the larger portions next time.

I got the Carne Asada and it was truly one of the best meals I got in SF!! Everyone enjoyed their meals and the restaurant atmosphere was very cozy. it's also very affordable for the city and the service was great. Can't wait to go back.

Food is bomb and staff is always friendly, and their prices are good for a San Francisco spot.

For the past 8 years, I've been a regular at this place, and I've always loved it. My discovery of this gem happened through my time working at Glide.

AMAZING food and super nice service! We are tourists from Canada, and had to cancel our dinner plans with another restaurant just to come back again the night before we left? the soup was heavenly. Don’t be intimidated by the surrounding environment. It is really super delicious and suitable for the Chinese stomach. Highly recommend panuchos and their soup

The BEST tamales I’ve had in my life!!No lie. The horchata and flan were also amazing. Everything is homemade. The only reason I took off a star for the atmosphere was that it’s a little sketch-ville outside the restaurant, so street parking is somewhat questionable. Besides that though, it’s quite honestly the best and most authentic Mexican food you’ll have in SF.
