Just don't it's overpriced, and I was surprised at how bland the food was. Dishes went from overflowing with seafood to scant. Yet not enough seasoning and flavor. Also, the add tip to your bill.

This restaurant has an easily accessible location and if you are driving you can get parking on the street, it is a picturesque place, it gives the feeling of being in an old restaurant, the prices of the dishes are reasonable for me, additionally at some times of the day they have happy hour so you can get a better price on some dishes, the food tasted good although I think the amounts should be higher as for the tip, I did not have a bad experience as I have read in some comments, the service is not the best but it is acceptable, next time I will try to order a Spanish paella

I love this restaurant, The staff are extremely friendly, it's worker's owned, prices are very reasonable especially relative to rising costs at other restaurants. I come here very often, order the pitcher of sangria and the rabbit stew (so so good). Good for dates, group hangs, solo dinners. They give free bread and salsa brava once you sit down. One of my favorite restaurants in SF.

I have been to many restaurants around the world but nothing feels like Esperpento. There is something really special about this place, the food, the atmosphere, the service. 10/10 experience every time I have visited. I highly recommend it to anyone in the SF!

Delicious food! Ate pescatarian and loved the meal!We at the grilled artichokes, the red snapper strips, and the potato/onion/egg pancake thing. All were soooo good!Then we had the vegetarian paella, a lot of food for two people! It was delicious and happy to take home leftovers.Would definitely return!

I had a delicious artichoke here. But it was expensive for the amount. I also had a whole bunch of sangria that was delightfully stringent and sweet.

Food was sub par even with my low expectations. Green beans were cooked to mush stage, Potatoes undercooked with no little exterior crunch, slightly raw center, and an overdose of aioli over the top. Quail was ok. Everything else was unremarkable. Service was attentive. Table was sticky.
