Started going here on the fairly regular during Covid as they were one of the few places in my hood with an outdoor area (which does NOT have ping pong any more, sadly -- many of these reviews are out of date). The bar is just a regular locals pub kinda place, nothing special. Compelled to come and also comment on how fucking RUDE the bartenders here seem to be, completely gratuitously. I've now either personally experienced at least three instances of different bartenders being rude to me (all old white men of course -- I'm also an old white man) in this place (snapping or berating me for something, seeming irritated at merely having to do their jobs, or downright unfriendliness), or on two occasions to people I have been with who have dared to ask e.g. if there is a drink menu, or for a recommendation of some kind. Gonna give it a miss from now on -- San Francisco is a friendly place by and large, so it's particularly jarring when your day is ruined for no good reason by someone who just hates their life. Get another job, asshole. You're there to serve and that means a modicum of humanity when dealing with other humans. Just because you're behind the bar doesn't give you the right to be a jerkoff.

I was surprised I’d never been here before. Great neighborhood bar with a sunny backyard. The bartender Stephanie was attentive while being very busy on a Sunday afternoon.

Nikki was fabulous!! It was my first time in San Fran and we passed Finnegan’s Wake and had the best time. She was bubbly, friendly, and gave us great service!! Will definitely recommend this bar to my friends. Try the Bloody Mary!!!

The blood orange wheat beer here is one of the tastiest and most amazing beers you will ever have. Mimosas were pretty delicious too.
Love this spot. Great vibes, back patio, pool table, and decent prices. Don't live super close but if I did I would be there all the time.
