I have to start by saying that it’s been quite a while that I’ve had such good Italian food. The taste is so balanced and full of flavors across the board. The menu selection is very wide, based on the dishes we enjoyed, this place needs several visits, I wish I was in town longer. Here’s what we had:Instalata con Endivia Belga e Prosciutto, this is a special dish outside the menu, but very refreshing and light. Our mains were the Fettuccine Carbonara, the Linguine con Cozze e Vongole, the Gnocchi di Patale, and the Pollo alla Parmigiana with a side pasta. Guys, the above is not in any particular order of taste, the food was seriously amazing, this place should definitely be on any Italian food lover’s list.Hope you would be able to visit, and enjoy San Francisco ?.Oh, and the by the way, the service is the cherry on top, it was a pleasure for us meeting Charles and chatting about our menu options.

This was a life-changing dining experience - and so wonderful that our group went two nights in a row! The menu was authentic, extensive, fairly priced, and everything we ordered was phenomenal. The service was the best I've ever had. (Pro tip: ask for Charles!) The setting was intimate and cozy - exactly what we were looking for after a long day in the city.Don't pass on Fino. It will be one of the best meals of your life!

One of few restaurants in San Francisco that has maintained its high standards through and since Covid. The menu has a wide selection, and the salads, soup, pasta, veal and chicken dishes ordered by our group were all very good. The service was professional, caring and timely. Early in the evening the sound levels were fine and we could hear each other, but later in the evening it got louder, although not unbearable.

WOW!!!! One of the best dining experiences of my life hands down! Start to finish this was incredible. Our Server has been there for decades and they are lucky to have him. His friendliness and attentiveness were unmatched, his recommendations and attention to detail were exceptional. We will be talking about and recommending this restaurant to anyone and everyone! Ps- try the gnocchi!

Great place, my favorite in San Francisco.Had probably half the menu already and all dishes were very tasty. The presentation of the desserts is spectacular.

Service at this is pretty mediocre. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, carbonara (pasta) and salmone alla griglia (grilled salmon).First of, restaurant doesn't give bread for the table.Fried calamari were pretty average and we ended up waiting for more than 40min for the mains.Mains were good.

I had high expectations, food was ok. Taste was good but nothing special. The restaurant building is old but not in a good way feels dirty. Service was good. I wasn’t impressed and would skip it.

My visit to Fino was nothing short of spectacular, marking a dining experience that stands out for its authentic Italian flair and culinary excellence. From the moment we were seated, the ambiance of the restaurant enveloped us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, setting the stage for a truly remarkable meal. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the exquisite selection of dishes we ordered. The Pesto Tortellini was a revelation, with each bite bursting with the fresh, herbaceous flavors of pesto, perfectly complementing the tender, cheese-filled tortellini. It was an impeccable start that promised much and delivered even more.Next, the Carbonara took us on a culinary journey to the heart of Italy. The pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, enveloped in a creamy, rich sauce that was flawlessly balanced, neither too heavy nor too light. The savory notes of pancetta added depth, making each forkful a delight. The Caprese salad was a refreshing interlude, with ripe, juicy tomatoes and silky mozzarella cheese, drizzled with just the right amount of balsamic reduction and olive oil. It was simplicity at its best, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. Our meal concluded on a high note with the Zabaglione. This classic Italian dessert was ethereally light, with a delicate sweetness and a hint of Marsala wine that lingered pleasantly on the palate.Every dish at Fino was a testament to the chef’s mastery over Italian cuisine, combining traditional recipes with a touch of modern creativity. The service was impeccable, with attentive but unobtrusive staff who ensured our meal was a smooth and enjoyable experience. In conclusion, Fino is a gem that offers an authentic taste of Italy, right here in our city. Whether you’re a fan of Italian cuisine or looking to explore it, Fino promises an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking culinary delights that go beyond the ordinary.Rating: ★★★★★
